Being yelled at does not make guys smarter.

Also, yelling at professional athletes is ridiculous. They’re not going to listen to that nonsense,

Heard a story about John Kruk saying that when Larry Bowa used to yell at the team, guys would have to go in a different room because they were laughing so much.

  • This season has been funny reading the hot takes.  They beat Atlanta: they're legit! Lose a few, play bad: season's over, they stink. Cut/fire everyone!  Win a few, play better: playoff

  • The Eagles are clearly in cahoots with the alcohol industry.

Score some points.

Worst first half we’ve seen all season.

The game of Professional Football is 100% designed to favor the pocket passer over the running QB. Every rule change pushes the game further in that direction. The Eagles need a hyper accurate pocket passer. If he's also mobile, great, but it's not the most important attribute because HOF'er after HOF'er run like they're stuck in the mud and they win it all anyway.

The first one was definitely holding. Herbig tackled the guy.  The second one was borderline. The Giants have been holding worse than the second one and not getting called. If you call the second one on Herbig, then they need to call holding on the Giants' OL who are doing even worse than that.

He gets his arm in there on the second and turns the guy around. It may be borderline but it is going to be called against the offense every single time.

That interception from Hurts was so indefensible it is offensive.  At the same time how does whichever coach is in his ear in his helmet not tell him at the timeout or before that play that hey whatever you do if it isn't there just throw it away.  Don't try to run it or force it.  Just throw it away and we can kick the field goal or go for it on 4th.  It's the type of incompetence all around that we were seeing in the first half of the season.

Could have double dipped with the fg and getting g the ball to start the half. But no.

Dolphins up bigly. Colts competitive and up currently. Not looking good on the picks front either...

Did Hurts look past this game? He's making some of the dumbest decisions while throwing. He's lucky when he runs all he needs to do is not fumble

He isn't even throwing the football correctly. Soft, lazy, pickable passes.

The Giants have been doing worse and not getting called. So, if the refs are going to call that, then they need to be consistent.

Eh I'd say Dallas.

And that's why it was such a dumb thing. Level things up and take something back in to the locker room. As it is now there's a lot of pressure on the offense to put up points on the opening drive.

At least the Eagles own pick might get better.

This is Hurts worst game as a pro. Without a doubt. Someone quoted me earlier and said it's because of drops...no. it's not. Running the ball is one thing, but he has to make the throws when needed. The Giants aren't winning, the Eagles are losing this game.

Uh… I don’t know about that. The Cowboys game was pretty bad…

We still got another 30 minutes of football though and something tells me Hurts is going to have a good second half.

What a joke Hurts is

But we know the refs aren't consistent. We see it every week.

They may have, we dont know. I also dont know how I feel about a QB who's situational awareness is so bad that he needs to be reminded of that.....

Eagles basically had 2 touchdowns on that drive. A hold and a drop killed them and Hurts hit the trifecta with a stupid pick.

You think? I guess the d played alright but the o was awful.

Minshew time!

Keep running the ball.

We get 3 points before half if trash throws the ball out of bounds

He has no ability to be objective towards Hurts. He has no faults in his mind.

Not that guy.

I hope Howie doesn't commit long term to a QB who cannot win games with his arm. You cannot settle at QB.

He isn't.

Howie: "don't get too comfortable, I got 3 first round picks 😜"

I'm pretty sure the Eagles will get a QB.  Hurts has made plays with his legs but our young WRs won't develop enough with a running QB.
