I hope they don't though. Not because Hurts is the long term answer but there's no answer with this roster. 

The Eagles are clearly in cahoots with the alcohol industry. 

This game is just not enjoyable to watch.  
 

As a whole, the Eagles are playing poorly in a divisional game that would get us into a wildcard spot. No excuse to come out and play sloppy football like this. It’s inexcusable.

Hurts is having a bad day, no doubt, but those happen with young, inexperienced quarterback.  Hell, they happen with to older, franchise quarterbacks as well.  Remember McNabb's horror show in Oakland in '08 (I think that was the year)?

His accuracy is atrocious. He's been running himself out of trouble his whole life, not throwing himself out of trouble. That's a formula for failure as an NFL QB. Oh he'll make an exciting play here or there, but win it all? Not when the NFL takes away the run from him. Just ask the greatest running QBs ever, Mike Vick and Cunningham how they threw themselves into multiple championships.

They could survive with Hurts for another season if they make the right draft picks. Grab 2 players for the d and another playmaker for the offense.

Considering the level of competition when comparing both teams...I'm saying this game. The Cowboys defense is good, the Giants D...not so much.

the Eagles need 2 big RBs.   The loss of Jordan Howard in short yardage and running between the tackles is big.

Herbig's penalties were not good.

Would want to see Tyree Jackson in those goal line situations. Fast runner + big jumper.  and how about Mailata, superweapon,  carrying or blocking from the backfield, same goal line situations. 

Don't like it when they fail in the goal line situations.   Reminds of the 9ers game.

Its what we’ve gotten used to seeing though with them. They always come out flat in games like this.

There's a huge difference between a mobile QB and a running QB. Hurts is the latter, which completely negates his arm as a consistent weapon.

Btw when I said Michael vick summed up hurts perfectly from the first half I forgot to add what he said. He said he was ineffective and indecisive which I think is a fair assessment.

Plus Lurie like exciting, pass 1st offenses and not the grind it out ground game, so....

Agreed. Sanders can break the big plays but he bounces and dances too much. He has too many negative or zero gains plays that gets us behind the chains.

Credit to NYG plan on defense.  It is working because they have the athletes to make it work (@OLB) & the Eagles have 2 CRITICAL injuries on offense.  People talk about Hurts haters/sniffers.....where are the people who think that because Sanders "clearly is the better back" Howard isn't MORE IMPORTANT to what they are doing?

Can we find a manakin off the waiver wire who can run routes?  Hurts will never be Unitas-but he's not getting enough help against the man coverage he is seeing on early downs.
