This is on offense, and offense alone.

Any offensive lineman in a new position is going to hold more than they should. Maybe if the season is garbage, we can try out some of the other guys who supposedly can play center.

I agree he was done with Philly, however I do think he would have had a good year had he stayed. Wentz would have thrived with Smith at WR. While here they never had a guy that could get open like him and we all know Wentz wasn't shy about throwing into tight coverage if Smith wasn't open.

Absolutely! The Eagles didn't deserve to win the game. The defense had a pretty good day (I'm not going to say good as I think the NYG offense is bad) but our offense today was just pathetic.

This.  Hurt's problems are in his head and NFL experience. His arm isn't high end but its good enough if he can develop the mental aspects of being an NFL QB.  With his work ethic and demeanor I think that is very possible. More possible than finding a new completely unknown rookie from the draft.  And no thanks to Roger or Wilson.  This team has far too many other holes to give up draft capital.

Draft and FA to fill the holes and focus in off-season developing Hurts in the passing game.

I don’t really care. I’ve seen the Wentzcuses for far too many years now. That’s the Colts problem an no longer my concern. All I care about is one more game from that dude. Take your Wentzcuses to someone who cares.

I mean what are the options? Draft a QB but to do so they'll have to give up other picks. And I think every QB comes with a real red flag. Or trade for a QB but I don't like any of those options.

Today was definitely concerning for his reading department. A lot of balls into double coverages. Way too many, but I will state these receivers other than Smith do not give me a lot of confidence.

The issue with our offence is its way too one-dimensional. Can always count on the run game and Hurts really helps opens that up for our backs. But what comes with that is a fairly inept passing attack, which is OK at the best of times but then you get days like today sprinkled in.

Unless Hurts develops into at least an average passer, this offence will always be limited. Sure, we can beat up on bad teams like we have been doing but you can't consistently win without being able to trust your ability to move the ball a little through the air to complement the run game

His arm is probably avg... mechanics seem to break down impacting accuracy. He has to develop looking off DBs or he has no shot because he doesn't have the elute arm strength to compensate.

I don't think he can read defenses. The problem is he relies on the run and on the RPO. He can't go beyond his first read so he needs those quick releases. Or he needs a play to break down so he can hopefully find an open guy. His receivers aren't great but he doesn't help them.
