Glad Mr Biden junior here took me off ignore so he could make some big boy posts like this.

You gonna add anything on your own or let the dumb dumbs like WGB so your talking?

We don't have boots on the ground so what's the big deal Mikey Boy?

To put things in perspective for the MAGA folks, this proposal for peace is the geopolitical equivalent of Californian hug-a-thug release criminals without bond policy.

If for some stupid reason this goes through, the next fifteen years are going to be incredibly bloody as we go into a WWII redux.

Curious how this doesn't apply to US in Afghanistan as well since it was much more recent and exactly qualifies

It half does. US forces dealt with an insurgency in the countryside, but not in the cities where the American presence was actually welcomed for a myriad of reasons. Ultimately though the insurgency in the countryside contributed to war weariness in American culture and ultimately led to the withdrawal of US forces. What I'm telling you is basic knowledge that the average high schooler should know. The average high schooler should understand my overall point which shouldn't have been this hard to drive home to you... were Russia to try to occupy Ukraine, the insurgency would be at historic levels. It would be chechnya on steroids. You and the other Trumptards, because of your emotional attachment to authoritarianism and your desire for MAGA to remake America in Russia's image, like to view Russia as this mighty world super power that's huge and scary. Spoiler alert... they aren't. Their equipment is outdated, their troops are raw, their strategy is almost non existent. In a conventional war against Western powers they would be easily crushed. They do not need to be kowtowed to.

The Trump administration will go down as the worst in our nations history. A complete joke. Art of deal LOL. The guy is an utter failure in everything he does.

What Trump is proposing is much more supportive of Ukraine in the long term.

In your scenario, you're wishing on a lucky star that the political and military winds within Ukraine don't change for years and years. That's not reality. They will get tired of dying and having their cities and infrastructure destroyed.

The mayor of Kyiv does not agree.

Lol whaaat??

There was intense fighting in Afghani cities, are you drunk? Kandahar, Kabul, etc were not just handed over to us.

And did you just say Russia is not trying to occupy Ukraine?? You're just making up nonsense now, that's obviously not reality since they are currently occupying Ukraine, right now.

The fact that you had to write 3 pages to make your "basic point" demonstrates how piss poorly you made it in the first place.

I still don't believe you were referring to Russia-Afghanistan 40 years ago instead of something that just happened. You continue to be massively full of ish. You and the rest of the TDSers can't handle the fact that youre eating ish sandwiches every single day as your delusional world view falls apart

Ok then they can reject the deal. No problem.

We'll take our support back and their country will suffer

And why would we take our support back and let Russia invade their sovereign neighbor? Did you read a word that Vikas wrote about the post WW2 order?

Ukraine was provided with a security guarantee in exchange for giving up their nukes in 94. Letting Russia invade means breaking that promise.

We haven’t been directly supporting them for almost a year now, so I’m not sure what people mean when they say Ukraine can take the deal or stop getting our help, because they sure as F aren’t getting our help right now, and haven’t for awhile.

This administration has now made our country a part of the axis of evil with this "peace plan”. What an absolute disgrace. Reagan is spinning in his grave. This country is doomed.

So Trump got it wrong again, as he has been since day 1 with this Ukraine thing.

What follows in my post is not deflecting. The above goes without saying. Its obvious and doesnt really need to be stated. So moving on to other angles on this story, my first question continues to be, where is the EU? There is now a deadline of Thanksgiving day. Days have already passed, and the deadline nears. And no European leaders have stepped up to say how ridiculous and unfair this deal is? They should be lining up to defend Ukraine and loudly denouncing the plan. So that Ukraine doesnt have to. So that Trump cant just say Ukraine doesnt want peace when they speak out against this deal.

They need it out there. They need to make a mockery of Trumps work on this plan. He should be embarrassed.

And why the hell cant THEY help draw up a plan? One that actually makes sense?

Western leaders say Ukraine plan needs work, Trump signal...

European leaders are trying to balance praise for Trump with support for Kyiv.

Read more, post less. They've already said it's not a good plan but they have to sugar coat their criticism because they know if they are blunt and to the point, Trump will get his feelings hurt and just stomp his feet, then double down on his submissiveness to Putin. (Have you said thank you once?) He's basically the penguin from the "well now I'm not doing it" meme.

Face it, you voted for a man child with an ego even more fragile than your own. Remember this the next time someone in your personal life has to sugar coat their own criticism of you, and realize that you've forced them to do this because of your own ridiculous behavior.

Almost nothing you've said is accurate. Why bother? Speaking of fragile egos. As I have always said it is so ironic how every post you make about me applies so well to you. You must really hate yourself. roll Sad!

First off, I’d like to thank you for acknowledging this basic truth & I’ll say you’re one of the only ones from "pro-Trump” crowd that has been able to call these things out IMO. 🙏

The EU or the major players (Uk, Germany and France) know that they have to thread the needle with the current administration. You’re right, they definitely should be doing more with coming up with a solution to the end the war, but the major obstacle to all of this, regardless of US or EU proposals, is the Russian take. They don’t want a compromise because, this is the important part, Trump is doing their bidding. I don’t mean this as an agent etc., but due to the fact that this current administration has imbeciles in charge of foreign affairs.. Wittkoff is a business man and should never negotiate foreign policy….

Apparently Trump is now telling Z to take it or your own your own.

Neither Trump or Putin want the EU to be part of the discussion.

European leaders have pushed back and have also suggested some key changes. As our poster living in Germany explains they must tread carefully with Trump.
