December 27, 2025Dec 27 The next go round in this game of charades is about to unfold. Of course it will not amount to anything from a practical perspective. Ukraine is not ready to surrender and Putin has no intention of a good faith negotiation.
December 27, 2025Dec 27 Looking into the details of the suggestion that Z is bringing to the table you can see a couple of pretty important tactics. One is the requirement for both US and Ukraine legislative bodies to ratify the security agreement. Another is the requirement for a referendum in Ukraine together with a significant chunk of time for a cease fire. Both of those put the ball in someone else's court. Seems pretty clear Putin will reject the long cease fire demand and Trump will certainly not allow a formal ratification process in the Congress or even the appearance of a real ratification process.Hope I'm wrong but this one is setup to be another sheet show.

Russia a: wants the whole of Ukraine, plus the Baltics and chunks of Poland, and b: the minute the war stops their economy completely collapses.
