The fact that Ukraine was invaded by Putin's Russia during the Obama and Biden administrations, but not during the Trump administration means nothing. Hey Vikas - why don't you explain to us why Crimea was invaded by Russia during the Obama administration before Trump weakened NATO. Not sure why I'm engaging with an imbecile, but...it was an immediate reaction to Yanukovych being deposed. Putin lost his puppet leader (an action the west supported), so he took Crimea in order to secure continued access to the Black Sea. And the response by the Obama administration was pathetic.

Trump is just a dope praising a dictator who invaded another country because he wishes to have that much power. It’s all ego to him. It’s not a brilliant political move by Putin to invade Ukraine. He’s gaining damn near nothing. What’s he want Chernobyl? More people that hate him? NATO was never coming for Russia, might not have ever tried to have Ukraine join. This is again all ego for Putin, which is why trump thinks it’s genius. trump isn’t calling Taiwan. The entire world is calling china and Taiwan.
February 24, 20223 yr The Bungler must have botched the prep so they're pushing back the "speech" until 1:30.

Biden is again the last person to think about things strategically So you believe that Putin wanted Biden to win and based his decision to invade or not on the US election going for Biden?
February 24, 20223 yr Just now, DrPhilly said: Exactly. He would not have invaded with Trump in office. Not because Trump deterred him with strong foreign policy. Rather, exactly the opposite. Trump was doing a godsend for Putin both in the way he treated NATO but also in how Trump utterly Fed up things in general in the US and across American institutions. Its amazing how you guys will twist yourselves into pretzels just so you dont have to admit that Trump >>> Biden foreign policy wise Still trashing Trump as incompetent but you know there would still be global peace and stability. Perfectly acceptable take in here, no one can call you a racist or whatever.

I think he well may have invaded in Trump's second term had he won, because Trump did enough damage to NATO and here at home that he would no longer be needed by Putin. And he knew damn well that Trump wouldn't do anything more than watered down sanctions. You know whose sanctions would not have messed around? Hillary's.

I also think we could take China but we'd have to understand that we'd take on massive casualties because they're bigger. It'd be difficult to take on both. We'd need help from our allies if that were to happen Just my opinion A full scale war with either of them would basically be Armageddon. Putin would definitely use nukes if we tried to actually infringe upon Russian territory. A war with China would be won, but at massive human and economic costs. Nuclear powers can't go to all out war with one another.

I definitely think almost all of our adversaries wanted Biden to win because hes an idiot, has almost always been wrong throughout his career with respect to foreign relations, and is clearly slipping in terms of energy, acuity, etc. The US is weaker under Biden and his failing leadership Why dont you ask yourself why Crimea happened, skipped a few years, and then another invasion. Im sure Dave Moss can explain it, if youre in for an acid trip

February 24, 20223 yr British leader orders asset freeze for all Russian banks British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he would aim to cut Russia off from the U.K.’s financial markets as he announced a new set of sanctions in response to President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. The sanctions include freezing the assets of all major Russian banks, including VTB Bank, the nation’s second-biggest bank, Johnson said Thursday. Britain also plans to bar Russian companies and the Russian government from raising money on U.K. markets. Britain will also ban the export of a wide range of high-tech products, including semiconductors, to Russia and to prohibit the nation’s flagship airline, Aeroflot, from landing at U.K. airports.

Up yours with your unwarranted insults - what a pompous a*hole. My guess is that you don't smell that good either. You have no real response - but you are correct that the response of the Obama admin was pathetic. What you conveniently failed to mention is that Obama drew his infamous line in the sand re Syria in 2012, and after Putin saw that he did nothing, he knew that the response of the Obama admin to an invasion of Crimea (which took place in 2014) would be pathetic.
