February 22, 2025Feb 22 It’s baffling to me that anyone here would be pro Putin / pro Russia. You can have a different view that the US should send billions of dollars to help Ukraine in their fight, or even have so many troops in Europe, etc., but to put blame on anyone else but this Soviet evil empire is ridiculous. What has happened to American values of right and wrong? Of good against evil? Ronald Reagan said it correctly during the Cold War and after a short stint of trying to be a democratic nation, Russia has returned to their evil KGB ways of aggression, misinformation and sabotage. Does anyone even know that there is massive suppression in Russia? People have been mysteriously fallen off of balconies or out of windows for years (people who have spoken up against Putin), citizens are thrown in prison for protesting for the opposition / laying down flowers at Nawalny’s grave and they get prison for saying the Ukraine conflict is actually a war. Putin wants to get back to the borders of the Cold War, or even further. Ask yourself why so many countries in Eastern Europe want to be a part of NATO and see Russia as a threat. Even the "neutral” Fins and Swedes joined NATO after Russia attacked Ukraine. I guess all these different countries in Europe are clueless but a "fraudulent and previously bankrupt” businessman from NY knows better than everyone else. He has no clue about these type of conflicts, which can’t just be settled by some "money” deal making. That’s not how the world works. His path to his dream of totalitarianism in the US is now very reachable, if the country doesn’t start to wake up and see this conman for who he is. This isn’t about policies, left or right wing views, it’s more about good or evil. America has always been known for sticking up for the underdogs, or even being the underdog (Miracle on Ice). Now our brothers up North are booing the National Anthem, which is certainly disrespectful, but this type of stuff has never ever happened before… We are losing our ways. DONT give in to a tyrant!
