Please answer the question.  Since you are close by, you obviously are more familiar with it than the rest of us.

You are the one that brought them up as evidence that Europe is unstable. You must know something about them? Hurry up and google all you can about them.

Yeah, when I was heading into Paris back in 93, I didn’t see a fenced in area of plywood and cardboard shacks, not framed shacks, just sheets of plywood nailed together like the forts we used to make as kids.

Do you realize the cost of not having a stable Europe on our side? Europe has remained relatively stable since WWII because the US took the lead.

Do you realize that the US is not capable of outside of Britain and France unilaterally maintaining that stability?  Sorry, I really don't like this particular proxy war.  And honestly the military's focus is on a hot war with China in the next two years which we are far from ready to execute.

I'm watching the entire 50 minutes and Trump keeps saying "raw earth" instead of "rare earth minerals".  What a dope.

Not you, Trump

Thanks for ruining my pissy missive.

That will only happen if Trump backs down and gives Ukraine a defense agreement.

Trump is if anything transactional.  Unfortunately, the price went up because of Trump's feelings getting hurt.

No I don’t realize that, and I disagree.

Yes, you are sorry, now apologize.

Yeah, he is 100% transactional.  The problem this time is that that term is a deal breaker.  Trump has plenty of room to make all sorts of demands but he can't make that one which no doubt comes from Putin in any case.

Obviously. He's going to finish with more land than he started and have a new relationship with China. The only way Putin "loses" is if an international force joins Ukraine and fights a hot war against him. Unfortunately then we all lose through nuclear annihilation.

You forgot to mention he also ends up with a US president spreading his propaganda and licking his boots

Exactly, because he’s the weakest US president ever.

Whatever floats your boat. You lack the ability to decipher fact from fiction regardless of where you find your information.

I'm 17 minutes into it and expecting some context might help one understand.

I actually agree that Europe is not really that stable at the moment. There are problems with extreme immigration (Germany), a rise in extreme right wing parties, dissent amongst the EU countries, Putin friendly leaders like Orban etc..

And Europe was way too dependent on the US military, which they cannot count on any longer. It might actually be a blessing in disguise to break the dependency of the US and get their act together with protecting their interests and territories.

No, i am not sorry.  The general who made headlines regarding an upcoming confrontation with China only publicly stated what was being implemented as part of the Great Power Competition  with China.  Russia was replaced as the power of concern by the Biden administration and Obama before that.

If you're looking for context for Zelensky's behavior in that room you need to go back a bit further than 40 minutes.

I personally would have wanted to take a flamethrower to that whole Fing room all things considered. I'm impressed he stayed composed as long as he did.

In going through the whole thing that guy is largely right. It was a good discussion for most of it until it went off the rails.

I like how Vance accused Zelensky of trying to litigate this in front of the American media.  Ummmm MORON, you invited the media to the meeting.  ffs...........

Trump set that up as a takedown of Zelensky.

He can go ef himself.
