Continuing to demand proper security guarantees, he is consistent

What is the general consensus over there?  Do most dislike Trump and the way he is handling Ukraine/Russia?  What % on each side?

The general consensus is that they want the war to end. The majority of Germans think Trump is crazy and dangerous.
Most, with the exception of the extreme right, believe that Putin is eating Trump’s lunch. Some think that Putin has dirt on him.

So to sum it up, all leftist democrats here🤣

Did Putin have dirt on Trump when he adjured the Europeans not to buy Russian gas and they decided not to listen to him - or did Putin have dirt on the Europeans who decided to go forward with the purchase against Trump's advice?

This is the continuing stalemate.  Zelensky hasn't budged one inch.

Nord stream 1 was started in 2010/2011, so years before Trump got into office and also before Putin started his attacks on Ukraine.
I already acknowledged that their dependence of CHEAP Russian oil and gas was naive and a mistake. It’s always been a mistake to be dependent of Russia and this stupidity still goes on to this day.

That changes nothing with the impression they get of the Trump/Putin bromance.

Why, because you acknowledged it was a mistake?

The Trump / Putin bromance is a mistake - yes.

I know you see that different, as you like that your bosses get along really well.

Nice attempt at twisting my words.  You acknowledged that buying gas from Putin was a mistake - but for some reason that was dismissable on your part.

Nah, just over repeating myself.

Zelensky is the globalist lapdog, but you're too blind to see it.  This coked up former comedian and male stripper is not the altruistic figure you make him out to be.

If only he were an oompa-lumpa, former reality game show host, had run multiple businesses into bankruptcy, and constantly grifted his supporters by selling them overpriced merchandise with his name or catchphrase on it.....

He has been nothing but consistent the entire time on the one thing he needs for his country in any agreement

He has been nothing but consistent in his incessant demands for more and more money, lack of appreciation, and back handed threats in the event his demands were not met.  The guy is a grifter through and through who has gotten fabulously wealthy off the backs of the U.S. taxpayers.  There is no denying that - so you will choose to ignore it instead.

The man has groveled plenty for the help his country has received since RUSSIA INVADED them, but we are supposed to be the good guys. Good guys help people because it’s the right thing to do. Good guys help people because they can. Good guys help people without expectation.

What evidence do you have the Z has gotten very wealthy of the US tax payers. Seriously, convince me he’s a grifter.

I'm not sure iif this has been posted and it is a long watch.  But context matters.  This is the ENTIRE meeting.  What most of the U.S. and the world saw was the final 3 or so minutes of the Oval Office meeting with Zelenskyy.

There is a time and place for everything and unfortunately, Zelenskyy, from the beginning of the meeting,, began to attack Putin,  handed over pictures of damages done to  Ukraine - which only Trump could see  and raised his voice when demanding that Russia pay 100% of the rebuild cost of Ukraine.     AND that's absolutely fine and to be expected AT THE RIGHT TIME AND PLACE.

He went on to continuously correct Trump, in the Oval Office, in front of the world - and that too could of been acceptable BUT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS - not in The White House - in The Oval Office - in front of the World.   This went on for the better part of 30+ minutes.

JD Vance began to speak about issues and Zelenskyy once again confronted Vance - and that too is 100% OK BUT NOT AT THAT TIME.  This went on and escalated to the disaster everyone witnessed a few days ago.

If after watching the entire video - knowing the context - that they are in the  Oval Office as a simple way to show unity to the world prior to signing the agreement (NOT THERE TO NEGOTIATE TERMS , CORRECT EACH OTHER AND ARGUE OVER WHO GAVE MORE MONEY, ETC)   AND  you still believe Zelenskyy was "setup or ambushed" then I'm sorry to tell you, you''re wrong.

That said, the guy who criticized Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit was just as embarassing and disrespectful to the Oval Office by making that statement there, in front of the media etc - (Again, that would have been fine behind closed doors but not at that time or place).

JD Vance - bless his heart - also took it a little over the top when pointing and saying, "You're wrong"  - not something that should ever be done among world leaders, in the Oval Office, in front of the world.  Trump had defended himself fine up to that point and JD Vance;'s initial statements were enough to show him defending both Trump and the country - no need to ever point fingers at a world leader, telling him he's "wrong" in that scenario.  That type of stuff - along with most of the  arguing, etc should always take place behind closed doors - in a "War Room" so to speak.

My 2 Cents.

What are we up to now? Close to a million dead or injured Russian scumbags? You've been crying like a little **** about WW3 for years now and we're no closer to war now as we were then. But keep hiding in your basement, poosay... the nukes could fly tomorrow!

It was when Trump gave Zelensky the javelin missiles, which 0bama wouldn’t, that Zelensky used to shoot down a Russian attack. Putin ordered him to do that.

Even if you believe that - it took them the better part of 45+ minutes of holding their lips to get to that point.

Zelenskyy came out guns a blazing, firing on all sides for 30+ minutes.  I (without question) empathize with his situation and the pain and suffering this has caused to Ukraine and its people.  He has an absolute right to feel that way and to say everything he said during that meeting - BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.

And if he wanted to let the media know - that should have been held as a separate press conference - ideally AFTER the agreement was signed and done NEVER in the Oval Office where the sole intention was to show diplomatic and economic unity with the United States.

It was close to an hour long meeting man. Your insistence that this should have just a happy handshaking event and then they dig into it details in private is absurd when Trump and Vance keep pushing BS about Ukraine starting the war and not budging on security guarantees is naive at best. They been instigating drama with him for months. This isn't Fing Yalta man.
