Agreed, but, both are morally wrong.

Consenting adults v assault. Not the same.

One may be tacky, the other is a felony.

Tell me the felony's that Watson has been charged with ??

He has started 63 games, I thought the magical number was 57.

@austinfan, now that Mahomes has passed your 57 game threshold, is he a franchise QB or not ??

I'd point out a number of QBs who flamed out after a good start. The argument was whether he was elite, not whether he was a franchise QB (which also requires time, since the primary measure of a franchise QB is he plays at a high level for an extended period - got to play for an extended period first).

What if Mahomes got injured this year and was never the same? I'd have been proven right to withhold judgement UNTIL he lasted 4 or 5 seasons. And we've seen this happen. McNabb afer 2004, for example.

Wait for the Grand Jury.

Idk if Watson will ever be as good as he was a couple years ago in Houston. I also don’t know if I want a potential predator on this team and have to support that guy.

But no matter how bad he is, he’s definitely gonna be better than Hurts. He can read the field, go through progressions, and has an arm. And is just as fast as Hurts.

I’m not saying we should trade for him, but the product on the field is guaranteed to be some degree better.

Mahomes still not a franchise QB 🤡🌏

Bummer.

Wasn't Cox banging someone's wife?

Sure QBs can flame out. But do you think Mahomes is elite or not?

Every player carries some level of risk reward. And what of Ben in Pittsburgh? He's treated as a hero there yet....same exact thing really. So people can and do look past off field issues. I can separate the player from the person off the field, to me they are two different things. I understand that others don't separate the two.

Like I said, if the NFL clears him to start playing again, I have no issue with him being here. I would hope the Eagles have this part of things cleared up before making any significant investment in him.

I think some people did not believe the accusations against Ben.  I think others didn't care if they were true.

I know Some would be upset but I’d be Fing thrilled. I think that kid is gonna be really good. It is not too often you’re going to get Jason Kelce followed by a guy who might be a better prospect than what Kelce was coming into the NFL. I loved creed Humphrey. I think linderbaum is on another level from what he was coming out.

I like Linderbaum and would like the pick but unless Kelce retires he's not playing.  I think the question would be whether Kelce plans to retire after next season or not.  I am not sure that will be the case.

How bad is Osteochondritis dissecans lesion for a QB to have? That’s allegedly what’s going on with Carson Strongs knee.

He always did it with such ease too

Jacksons last TD would have been taunting nowadays

He may be a 1 trick pony. But if you have him running clearouts for Smith to abuse CBs in the short and intermediate area, thats not bad at all. With the health, the drops, and the lack of route running, hes probably just not worth the cost of a trade, and extension.

DK running deep routes opening things up for Goedert and Smith would be a good plan but for Sirianni calling WR screens to Reagor.

D. Both A & B.

Alright... I think it is pretty widely accepted that the top 3 DEs in this draft are: Hutchinson, Thibodeaux and Karlaftis.   We could argue until we are blue in the face about what order to put those 3 in, but those are the top 3, right?

So... then we seem to have a gap to the next tier... and I'll ask folks to rank the next 5 DEs (Listed alphabetically so that I don't bias the rankings of folks) and share their reasons for why they are ranked like that.

Hall, Logan - Houston
Johnson, Jermaine - Florida St.
Ojabo, David - Michigan
Thomas, Cameron - San Diego St.
Walker, Travon - Georgia

I'll go my top 5 DE after the top 3.  I'm torn on Ojabo/Walker they are 1a. and 1b

Travon Walker
David Ojabo
Jermaine Johnson
Kingsley Enagbare
Drake Jackson

Sleeper - Sam Williams

What kind of value can we get in a trade of Picks to drop one of the first (say pick 16) for a 1st in 2023? What else would we likely be able to pick up, a 2nd or 3rd  IN this or next years draft?

I can find value charts for one year only, I cannot find any values on trading future picks

So, yes.

Pretty sure its what Myles Jack had going on in his knee.

Its not good. But I dont know who can predict how long his knee will hold up for. Seems easier for a QBs knee to hold up than a LB.

I wonder if he ever had surgery to try to fix it.

This is the article I found on him, but no idea how reliable it is. https://celebhook.com/carson-strong-injury-what-happened-to-his-knee-parents-and-girlfriend/
