I am very glad that Watson is going elsewhere. That compensation the Texans got is very good but even so, no thanks - I am glad the whole charade is done with and the NFL can move on from it all.

Seeing Harris back is very meh; a warm body and all that.  I guess the team are really all in on the draft and in some respects, it's what this team needs to do for the long term - no more short term fixes

Or maybe he doesn't. Maybe he had guys identified as talents they'd be willing to break the bank on and those options are gone now so they pivoted to plan b. But Howie usually isn't a guy who loses out on option 1 and just calls it a day. If he wants a player at a position, he finds a way to get one.

Hopefully Harris signed for less   I like Scott so I like this move. Still need a RB in the draft.

He makes tackles. I wonder if he would look better playing to a young rangier safety than McLeod. He looked good in Minnesota playing next to Harrison Smith.

There will always be Greg Wards and Boston Scotts on the roster. As long as they aren't more than RB3/WR4 on the depth chart and play STs there isn't much to be upset about. 

Howie does this every year, plugs in a one year patch to fill every hole going into the draft, but cheap enough that you can kick them to the curb if you draft/sign/pickup on waivers, someone better.

Harris is probably there b/c he knows the defense, right now the other safeties are Epps, Chachere, Wallace and Mayden, throw in a draft pick and a priority UDFA.

Scott provides depth while Howie sees what falls to him in the draft.

And so on. Nothing to get excited about.

Greg Ward and Boston Scott are the same player in my eyes

Signing him doesn't stop them from upgrading.

Feel awful for the kid. If it is a tear, I will be very surprised if he goes RD 1.
