No.  We already have Jalen and don't have to give up anything for him.   And he's on a rookie deal, 2nd round pick.  Cheaper.   And right now, cheaper is better.  Mayfield doesn't do much to move the needle.  Is he better than Jalen?  Probably.  Is that difference significant?  Definitely not.

That was my thought when I heard it. What if Watson's future in Cleveland parallels Wentz' years here. Great one year but injured at the end and doesn't really recover to become the quarterback he was. Cleveland is going to pay $46 mil./yr for a quarterback performing at a subpar level compared to what they paid for. Do they have a way to get out of the guarantees? Yeah I know Minny did the same thing with Cousins.
