We have a whole draft coming up in a month.

This has been said every year and Howie fails to address the areas of need adequately.

anything ever come with the Giroux trade?

He didn’t go on the road trip with the team. It’s Florida or avs based on reports. He’s gone it’s a matter of who and when

We don’t always have 3 first round picks

Just saw that the Browns designed Watson's contract so that his base is only $1M in 2022 in case he gets suspended by the NFL. Literally trying to circumvent NFL punishment from him being potentially being guilty of sexual assault. Can't make it up.

I have seen what Howie has done in the past.

The reliance on the draft after doing nothing in FA has shown its head time and again as to how this team will turn out.

Brady did the same. It’s nothing new.

So, he costs about $5M against the cap this year, assuming Howie didn't spread this one out over two years, like he did with it last year.  ($2.4M dead carryover from the last one.)

That's some bad contracting for Howie.👎

Harris made zero plays last year, it was like the eagles were playing with 10 guys on D all year.

If he's starting it's going to be much of the same this year.

RIP John.

His "This is SportsCenter" commercials were some of the best.

Hey! He made one easy INT and immediately tossed it to Slay.

I’m not sure why it’s so hard to understand that this team is not going to contend this year, or the next few years.  The next couple years is all about drafting young talent and developing them.  We do not need to be signing stopgap FAs.  There is absolutely zero reason for it.

That’s literally all they are doing

What can we say they developed into good to pro bowl players? We are talking after round 2 since you should expect good players out of the first 2 rounds (where Howie has crippled the team)

I will be fair: Milota, Watkins.....im sure I'm missing more but the point is this team has been a dystopic hellhole of young talent over the years and they needed to do much more than this crap we are seeing after seeing what last year was.

This team has been deplorable at player development. Their noteworthy starters come via FA and trades. Why should I expect the same front office of self-righteous dingbats to be any better after all this time as this has followed multiple coaches?

Are there any receivers who come out like this to support Hurts unprompted? I can see why defenders love him.

How is that circumventing punishment?   If he’s suspended, he’s punished by not playing.  How the Browns want to write contract up, is up to them.   As king as it’s within the leagues guidelines.

When you're suspended, you don't get paid your salary. So if he's suspended for the year, he will only lose $1M in earnings.

A team can generally turn it around pretty quickly if they get some good pieces. Chargers and Bengals come to mind

Nick Castellanos signs with Phillies $100 million for 5 years

With Deshaun Watson going to the Browns just wanted to take a minute to say some words.

I've been a big supporter bringing this guy in and I know a lot of people here have daughters or are women yourselves and were sensitive to that. So I just wanted you to know and there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that'll be a home run.

The Phillies offense should be fun to watch

I guess the Phillies plan is to give the bullpen a huge lead and hope they can hold on.

If Banner was still here, Metcalf would be an Eagle tomorrow. With Harden and Schwarber/Castellanos, dude hated being out of the spotlight for a single day.
