Brian Westbrook on Facebook posted a picture of him standing next to Jordan Davis.

And says, thank goodness I'm retired.

Davis dwarfs him.

That is a large human being

341 at only 6’6, whereas Mailata is 346 at 6’8.

Is he solely a hole plugger?

Browns had to do something with a backup QB. More surprised they gave up on Keenum.

Nope. He's a beast.

Makes sense. They’re going to try to load up and go for a Super Bowl this year. Even before they trade baker Mayfield they still have picks in the draft. They have a second round pick, 2 3rd round picks, 2 4th round picks, sixth round pick and a seventh round pick

Marcus Williams would have been the cornerstone of our back seven. We made a competitive offer and missed. What would you have said if we signed him?

We made a competitive offer and got him.

Yeah it's almost like even though you traded away 5 picks for a FRANCHISE QB, there are still picks left in each draft to help your team. But that cant be right, a bunch on here told me that trading away 3 first rd picks would doom any team to not being able to add players through the draft....

WTF are you talking about- Baltimore has got him

Seeing as Cox is back, I don't expect him to pout or take plays off like he did last season. Otherwise, it was all a complete pointless charade him coming back.

He was responding to a hypothetical

I was just looking at the number of total posts the board has (almost 890,000), and it looks like if our average continues, we should hit One Million posts around June or July. Maybe sooner, depending on traffic during the draft (seeing as we have three 1's).

One Million posts in two years ain't bad for a community that the Eagles said wasn't very active.

Giroux traded to the Panthers. End of an era.

It just highlights the assumptions that some in the Eagles made about the fanbase and traditional message boards not being relevant any more.  Social media isn't for all, and this community proves it.  Long form will always have a place.

I do wonder how traffic to the Eagles website has been affected by removing the message boards.  I can't be the only who never goes there any more after they retired the message boards.

We would be at a million if I left up my posts of a duplicate tweet that @ManuManu beat me by 2 seconds

That made me curious to know if any stat sites were tracking traffic. This one doesn't show anything other than a 3 month period ending in January (probably not all of January), but the comparison of us to PE.COM is interesting. Later, I'll see if I can find any sites that track for years and see if we can see a drop off for PE.COM once the EMB was split off.

Spoiler

What I find interesting is that PE.COM is the official website for an NFL team. We're a fan run forum. PE.COM has a lot more visits, as you would fully expect. But considering they're the official site and we're a little fan run forum, our numbers compared to theirs is pretty respectable (for us), and in some categories it's better for us. Average visit duration and pages per visit for us is a lot better than PE.COM. "Apples and Oranges", I know, but still the main focus of both sites is still the same.

How many of those were posters telling RTK how stupid he is?

That is really interesting - considering they host official content, etc.

Their bounce rate is very large and duration is low....  Shows the relative lack of interesting content they have is reducing what people do on their site.  I'd be interested to know what discussions they may have had internally with those numbers, especially after removing the message boards, and with the advertisers on their platform.
