The bar has been set as, can Baker lead this roster to even 1 playoff win? I don't think he can. And neither can Hurts, so.....

I'd guess Falcons/Seahawks take on a Mayfield, Mariota as stop gaps since none of these QB's seem to be pro ready besides Pickett (who goes to Carolina). The weird one will be Jimmy. I wonder if he just ends up staying in SF.

One of them would likely take Ryan's seat in Atlanta.  Playing in a dome might suit either one of them.  If I was ATL I'd be tempted to bring Mayfield in for a 4th, then they can draft QB in 2023 if it doesn't work out.

He lead Cleveland to a playoff win in 2020, so it's a hell of a lot more likely. Baker showed real growth in 2020, then regressed badly last year. If he can be had for next to nothing, I'd take a look.

I’d be surprised if the Falcons give up picks for Jimmy or baker. Frankly i think they go after someone like willis in this draft.

Ryan's dead cap hit is 40m, the highest ever. I think they will want a QB on a cheap contract for at least 1 year.

If Howie ends up drafting a QB or trading for somebody like Kyler, ATL becomes a nice landing spot for Hurts.

Jalen Hurts is better than Baker at this point.

The counter-point is neither of those teams has a chance in hell to be competitive this year. So why not just play the rookie right away? Or just go with Maroita who will be cheaper?

The risk for them, in a weird way, is Baker plays well and then there is pressure to re-sign him. Baker may be too good/have too much of a pedigree to be a true bridge QB.

They were 11-5 and led by Hunt/Chubb, far superior to what we have here.
