Sounds about right. But I'm not even talking about it from a morality POV. We all know that means nothing. More talking about how they pretty blatantly structured the contract the skirt the inevitable suspension kinda undermining the punishment preemptively. Seems like something that Goodell et al could take personally.

I doubt it. Brady did the same thing when he got suspended. Not much they can do unless they tack on another game or two to the suspension.

I hope, as suggested, he is just a JJAW repleacement and doesnt actually factor in to the X or slot picture at all.

I know he’s slot only but he’s a better player and a better use of resources. This sorry team could use an upgrade anywhere other than Smith. 

How many other teams sign WR and when discussing them say things like this?  I swear this has to be an Eagles thing.
