Way way off topic. I want to bake breads. Make my own starter, like that. Shitload of books out there. Videos too. Any recommendations? I make the world’s best biscuits and scones but I want to expand my horizons. Where else to turn but to a football board?

My dad was the bread maker in the family. But he and my mom grew up with homemade bread.  My mother could make bread too.  She was a great baker but her real art was flaky pie crusts.  First, get a bread board. A large board that you only use for making bread. Mine is 27” x 36”. Next, if you don’t own one, by a flour sifter.  My dad loved his bread machine, which he got later in his bread making phase as his hands just couldn’t knead and punch any longer.  But I would suggest making bread using your hands to start. Really teaches how to work the dough and will let you know if you like it. It’s baking so it is chemistry more so than cooking.  Double rise is key. (I really don’t enjoy baking so while I was taught how to make bread, I don’t do my own. I like to deviate and tinker and baking doesn’t tolerate that like cooking does.). Also, buy a good bread knife. So important for slicing the finished product.

Been saying it for months. It's been screaming it since mid season that Howie has a crush.

After mid season when the eagles went to a run dominate game plan cause Hurts sucked, Howie started attending a lot of Pickett's games in person. Then Pickett was on the sidelines during the Eagles vs Saints game. Howie has been all over this kid for months now.

Really? That does sound like a major crush indeed.

Paschal over crowder is horrible.

Howie Roseman has delivered a string of small but significant victories this past year

How many other teams sign WR and when discussing them say things like this?  I swear this has to be an Eagles thing.

Pascal had 150 catches for 1,888 yards and 15 touchdowns with a 12.6 average in four years with the Colts, who originally signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Old Dominion, where he played alongside Travis Fulgham in 2015 and 2016. He’s also considered one of the better blocking receivers in the league.

afan writes for them.  Pascal is basically an H-back.

Not a good catch rate for Pascal.

What kind of crazy progressive are you?  Sir... we break bread in these parts, we do not "slice" it.

Im ok if we draft Pickett, I am not ok if we go after willis.  Willis is such a project, we have zero info on whether or not he can play in an NFL pro style offense or if he would have the same troubles as Hurts is having , trying to read post snap.  Where as Pickett played in a  pro style offense in college.

Then JJAW was a GREAT FIT, and we didn't need Pascal....

Zach Pascal is exactly the type of signing you should want in week 2 of free agency. Fits a need. Good character. Scheme fit. Will push the young players (Reagor) on the roster. He'll play if Reagor continues to be bad. He's also good enough to not have to draft a WR in RD1, but not good enough to pass on BPA WR in RD1.

Wow, that sounds exactly like something I want!

Not really

That Pickett quote sounded so ridiculous that it has to be from someone who wants him gone before they pick.

With all the QB hungry teams it looks like there could actually be more than a few eyeing a QB whether they are already ahead of the Eagles picks or trade up potential.

3 Houston

6 Carolina

8 Atlanta

9 Seattle

13 Houston

18 New Orleans (trade up potential)

20 Steelers (trade up potential)

Howie could be looking at some good players dropping down to him at the Eagles picks.

Eagles are hyping Pickett to get someone to jump them.

Agreed - it’s a play on PIT or NO.

I could see the steelers liking pickett

dont want him here

I agree , that quote is just off

There was a time Picket was pretty popular in here. Other than hand size, what ever happened to turn everyone? Cause it definitely seems like more than that.

Everything I heard on Sirius NFL today, sounds like Pickett had a great day.  So?

Is that Conner Barwin, special assistant to the GM?

I'd be ok if we drafted him. To me he is the best of this class. and we have little options that would be better at this moment

Not sure.  I wasn't one of those that was all excited for Pickett.

There’s no way Howie would show his cards. Only time I recall was with Wentz, but that was very obvious since the Rams kept saying they were taking Goff.

I think it was the Pitt vs North Carolina game. A lot tuned in and left generally unimpressed.
