Should... being the operative word.   Had Howie played his cards right, it could have been 2022.   No worries, Howie is already lining up ways to carry copious amounts of dead money to 2024.

Barnett has got worse every year since his rookie year, not sure the thinking in the signing him, seems like a bit of wishful thinking by Howie.

But hey maybe not getting even a sniff on the open market motivates him and he comes out more focused and shows out, doubtful but who knows 🤷‍♂️

Graham had a had a decent 3rd season and was fairly productive in his 4th season.

Gannon loves Anthony Harris, he was important to keep because he knows the defense.

Pascal really knows Sirianni's offense and it's important to have him in the locker room.

Barnett isn't as bad as his stats show.

Think about it: 

The way they've been monitoring and taking Pickett to dinner is very similar to what they did with Wentz. They're suring up the DL. They added a "LB" in Reddick. They brought Harris back. They have a plethora of young corners on the roster (whether they're even decent remains to be seen). 

Howie is moving up for Pickett, taking a WR and using the rest of the draft for OL/Defense.

Just seems like the way this is headed.
