Foles is not a starting NFL QB. He's had a number of shots and failed.

He had one great year under Chip when they took the league by surprise, and a two game heater in the playoffs.

A local hero, but let's not get carried away.

And Hurts is?

but, a better QB than Hurts.

The bait is weak in these ones.

I’ll take Kyzir White at "up to” $5M over Foye Oluokun for 3-$45M.

Yeah he's starting in the NFL, just took a team to the playoffs while Foles has been riding 3rd on the depth chart of a team with crappy QBs.

Without question even though Oluokun is good.

White IMO means we can go RD2-4 LB without needing to get Llyod. Hoping Llyod goes top 14 now.

Right now, QB1 and WR2 are the weakest spots.

I am higher on quez

wr3 sure

but TE2 is a glaring hole going into a draft with great depth. I want Cole from Nevada

Is it my imagination, or does every mock draft have us picking Haskins on day 3?

Not mine, but is a few weeks old, lol

Curious why the league didn’t really value White but I like the signing. Type of guy they should have been targeting and definitely better than just bringing Singleton back.

I don’t think we’re taking a first-round LB.

Still options in the second. Not sure Quay is an mlb but inthink Smith from psu isnt getting enough buzz

Guys Hurts is our QB next year. At the very least to start the year. Just come to terms with it now and save yourself the heartache.

Not a chance in hell we do LB in R1 and 2. Nor will Christian Watson be available in R4. And F Olave. They aren’t drafting 3 WR’s. I give this 12 out of 10 Howie’s.

I like Reddick’s talent and age.  I like his contract given what he has already proven as a pass rusher.

What I question is his usage/role/fit.  Most say he will replace Avery.  How many times did Avery blitz last year?  If Gannon blitzed less than any DC in the nfl, it can’t be much.  Will that change with Reddick?  Will Reddick rotate at DE?  Why sign Reddit to be a non pass rushing 4-3 OLB?

Howie will trade up to draft Pickett, Hurts will be traded before week 1.

If you replace Avery with Reddick, would you blitz less or more?

Reddick will move down to the DL as a standup pass rusher on obvious passing downs. And sometimes as an OLB in a hybrid 3-4 look.

And give that Gannon is a Zimmer disciple, look for Reddick to also line up inside for "A" gap blitzes.

He's got the speed and talent to be moved around the formation to exploit OL weaknesses and set up man on man blocks for other DL.

If we are doing a mock for real then Howie is trading up for Pickett.

So who are the Mikes that project to play three downs and go in rounds 2-4?

No! Our baby hand savior is coming with two midnight green gloves

I read that Avery blitzed on 20 percent of his snaps, but he was a true Sam for us and wasn’t an incredible she in a four-man rush.

I think we’re going to see an uptick in rush percentage at Sam and for him to be a DE in obvious passing downs.

I love people doing these mock drafts but I give it about 0% that we pick in those three spots. Maybe if Howie gets hit by a truck walking into the draft. We’re flipping significant value to next year if we can find buyers.

Yes to all of that.  The question is if Gannon will actually do it.

Gocong was drafted for that purpose too and he evolved into a run stopping never blitzing SAM.

It would be that project athlete from Montana State, Troy Anderson. Maybe Muma and Chenal.

Thing is, we arent taking a LB in rounds 2-4 now. Not after signing 2 LBs in free agency.

Itll be a late round guy, if any at all.

And thats ok with me. I think we addressed it adequately. Next season see if you can retain White, if he earns it. Or draft one then.

I think it was a limited sample size and he’s basically an average or so OLB. He likely wanted to be paid a lot more than what he got (see Foye) and he had to settle for a place where he could for sure start and hope to stack another good year onto his resume.

It seems like teams also might have wised up about spending stupid money on off-ball LBs in FA. Well, other than Jax.

Yeah, we’re definitely not taking a Sam high, and I think we’re out on Will with White/Taylor here.

The logical spot is Mike, where Edwards can man the spot for 2022 but ideally we have a three-down guy in the pipeline and ready for 2023. I’m thinking round 3 or 4, if there is such a guy.

TDN updated their Ojabo ranking on the mock draft simulator.

I just did a draft without forcing a LB pick in round 3 or 4 now that we have White.

Would love this if you switched 19 with 51.  Travis Jones goes back end round 1, and I'm not gambling on an Achilles with rd. 1 money.
