I thought you like having sweaty men around

My guess is you’re the one guy in the sauna that takes his towel and swim trunks off to ruin everyone else’s day with your old balls, loose skin, and your 5 year plan.

Why did it feel like less than a week ago there was no chance Davis would last until 15?  What changed?  I’d do cartwheels if the Eagles landed him at 15/16.

He won’t be there. Which is more to my point of them taking Wyatt. Cox is done. Everyone knows it. Need to set up Milton’s tandem partner for 2023.

Wyatt is getting a top 30 visit here.

But hes not like the others.

In a trade up scenario, do you prefer to target Gardner or Walker? I assume Walker would be a bit pricier to get, but after round 1 the EDGE market seems a lot murkier than CB.

I disagree. I think there’s more viable R2 edge guys than corners. Ebikete, Mafe, Thomas, Enagbare, Jackson.

Correct. He’s far more like Fletch. An attacking DT.

DE > CB

I don't think Mafe makes it to Round 2.

Jealousy is an ugly color on you my portly friend. How did your audition go for "My 600 lb Life?”

Add Hall to that edge list.

Not sure theyre looking for an attacking DT.

Most likely not with Ojabo’s injury.

Yes Logan Hall. Though I see him more like Milton a DE/DT tweener. I think they like one of each. With Hargrave and Cox both most likely done after this year, they certainly COULD go for more of a NT…I’d just rather they get Wyatt. Big bodied NT who are mainly for run downs aren’t typically R1 guys. Davis is an exception due to his ridiculous athleticism for his size. They could grab Wyatt R1 and Butler in the 4th and get one of each.

Gardner. I think the DE class is more rounded out where it's easier to pick up a viable DE later.

Already pandering to the fan base. This guy gets it.

tweener is a negative term. Williams was small for a DT but fat for a DE. Hes a tweener.

Hall is big, and can do both. Hes versatile. Still have him as a DE because hes sub-300, and does have the long arms you want to see out on the edge to keep OTs off of him.

Portly, LOL, got me laughing, now leave

I love Milton. Not using it in a negative way at all. I was thrilled when we took him. I love versatility.

Walker for me and it‘s not even close.

I like him too. But he was a tweener as a prospect. Hall is not.

Tweener is always a negative term. A players size or limitations mean he has no home. You can put him at either spot but he may fail due to certain limitations.

Versatility means he can do either. You can literally play him full time at either spot and he has the ability to do that.

DE > CB

Esp in today's NFL. Im not big on drafting a CB early since lets be honest there is no shut down CB anymore. Ramsey is the only one even close and there are no Ramsey's in this draft. Now would I draft Gardner if hes there at 15? Sure. But Im not moving up to get him. CBs just don;t have the impact anymore like they use to. A great pass rush helps the CB in 9 out of 10 cases.

Yup

I think it was a limited sample size and he’s basically an average or so OLB. He likely wanted to be paid a lot more than what he got (see Foye) and he had to settle for a place where he could for sure start and hope to stack another good year onto his resume.

It seems like teams also might have wised up about spending stupid money on off-ball LBs in FA. Well, other than Jax.

Makes sense, but Chargers going all in on D this off-season and letting him walk for cheap raises an eye brow for me.

Agreed, but they can't keep everyone.

Yeah he's starting in the NFL, just took a team to the playoffs while Foles has been riding 3rd on the depth chart of a team with crappy QBs.

And so it begins

Those guys are good, but a big drop off from guys like Walker Hutchinson Thibbs IMO.  A bigger drop than the drop off from Gardner/Stingley to guys like McCreary, Emerson etc.
