So hard to even get the least bit excited about the Eagles until they get an elite QB.

Being from Southeast ohio, watching Joe Burrow beating up on my high school. This area is going crazy. And then to see my Dad get this win and get emotional, this is special. Im rooting for the Bengals hard right now. 

So I turned to fox to watch game and its Fing south American soccer. What the hell?

Bengals lucked into getting the greatest one-year QB in college football history. Burrow's LSU year was that good. So you'd need to have the #1 overall pick...in a year with an excellent QB. Miami tanked that season for a QB...ended up beating Cincinnati instead, and ended up with Tua.

Yes, turnovers are a problem... especially the last one.  Their style was 'fine', they were in position to win, despite a red zone turnover and an opening possession turnover... but that last one was the back breaker.

This is why I don't like the "keep trading down for future #1's and hope you get a top pick in a great QB draft" strategy. There's no guarantee you'll suck enough to get a top pick. There's no guarantee if you don't, you'll have the ammo to trade up or find a team willing to trade down. If you don't trade up and stand pat and take a QB, there's no guarantee you'll take the right one. Most QBs don't end up working out, odds are you won't get a special one.

If you can get Watson/Wilson/Rodgers you do it. Don't have the patience or energy for a year to year "Can we stumble into a franchise QB in this year's draft??? Oh, no? Ok, let's try again next year" while winning 7-9 games every year.

I just wish Watson didn't have the off-field issues. Then it's a no-brainer to give up the farm for him. 

Because of what you described, I'd understand trading a lot for Wilson too. Of course, it takes the other team to want to sell.

If Watson didn’t have his off-field issues (and not just trying to dip his wick everywhere) he wouldn’t be potentially available.
