Time for the wife to get back home lol

I stopped listening to him last season.  He treats his listeners like crap.

Yup i stopped as well for the same thing you said and how he boasts about himself and tries to belittle other podcasts like they’re be-all and end-all.

Probably so

My wife said that same thing.  Looked like a publicity stunt to make the Oscars more relevant.    If... Smith was so offended that he couldn't control himself and just had to lash out physically, he would not have calmly walked up there and slapped him once, then walked back to his seat.   He was completely under control and made the choice to do that.  And Chris Rock likely would have responded with some sort of retaliation.

Seemed very staged to get people talking about the Oscars.  No one cares any more, and there's about a dozen different awards like that out there now.  No one cares.

What do you all have as much address and nice to address in this draft? These are mine:

Must: S, CB, WR, DT, DE, LB

Nice: QB, G, C, RB

If no QB taken, must trade back for 2023 draft assets

Drafting another WR while Hurts is your QB, will only hold the progress back of that WR, much like SMith and Watkins. Those guys would have developed and produced much more, if we had an actual QB. Hurts actually hinders their development. So I dont know why you would invest in that at this time. I would rather we invest in the defense, where Hurts's inabaility to throw the ball wont hurt the young players development.

Nonsense.  Hurts isn’t going to hold back the progress of WRs.  Watkins improved his route running as last season went on.  Yes, the Eagles went to concentrating more on running.  Of course, keeping the D off the field had nothing to do with that.  The fact that Hurts is dynamic as a running QB has nothing to do with that.  It is so obvious that Hurts held back Reagor and JJAW from achieving all pro status. (Sarcasm intended).  The play of Reagor and JJAW had no impact on Hurts development.  The best route runners on the team are Smith and Ward.  Ward just isn’t athletic enough to matter.  But Watkins passed Reagor in snaps as the season went on because he improved his route running but he is still green and still has hands issues.  Drafting a decent X won’t hurt Watkins development.

Hurts has significant flaws in his reads, progression and delivery but this "he hurts development of receivers so don’t add one” is nonsense.

For the life of me I cannot understand the hostility to Megan Markle, nor to Prince Harry. If you want to bust on a Royal, it should be Prince Andrew, whom they covered for for years. If you have a 10-year-old daughter, he's your new best friend.

Not to mention that they actually are not currently the welfare cheats that the rest of the family is.

Another older player who won't be cheap. Why

My hope is that a QB Detroit likes is still there at 15.  They get Hutchinson at # 2 to appease the fan base then whatever QB drops to 15 and send us 32 and 34.

At 16 hopefully we can still get Jordan Davis
At 19 best DE available (Mafe or Greek Freak?)
At 32 and 34 either Daxton Hill or Brisker and at 34 George Pickens

Just how Will Smith delivered the slap.  It appeared to be how you would choreograph a fight scene in a movie.

He made contact.  But it was definitely a work.

Yup.  Also true.

I dont know. Some of it looks suspicous and other parts looked all too real. Will looked like a man who is broken inside with his speech. He looked really upset when he was telling Chris Rock to keep his wifes name out of his Fargain mouth. And Rock while kept his cool did seem a bit startled and stumbled over a few things trying to get back on track.

You may be right, but I dont know going all WWF is going to save the Oscars.

I would put QB as a must, because just trading back for a 2023 1st is A LOT easier said than done.  Hasn't been an NFL team make that trade from the 15-19 spot (where the Eagles are) in more than 10 years at the draft.

Must -- S, CB, QB, DT, DE

Nice -- G, C, WR

I think logically they let Sanders play out his final year, let him walk in FA, and draft a RB next year.  I think if they're unable to get a WR they want in the draft, they can still bring in a WR by FA or trade afterward.

I dissagree. Hurt's is clearly holding the WR's (Smith and Watkins) back. {Perfect example) The Tampa game, where Watkins alone was open for 3 possible Td's if Hurts wasn't bailing out of clean pockets.  Smith as well.  How much longer before those two get frustrated and stop trying hard because Hurts is only rarely going to try and get them the ball?

To say Hurts is not holding back their production and development is just completely ludicrous in the face of overwhelming evidence.

Yelling profanities repeatedly is not a means of making the Academy Awards relevant again.  Not the time or place.

To use a wrestling analogy -- Will Smith is a mid-card guy who is repeatedly given a "push", for some reason.

Regardless if it was a known tatseless joke or not. Violence against a comedian is wrong.  Boo- hiss, gasp, whatever, never go see the guy again, thats fine. Violence is just wrong.

You cannot condone violence against someone using words. Thats how we get censorship and loose the freedom of speech.

I mean free speech is government taking action against someone for saying something.  Most states recognize a defense to assault in a civil suit when the alleged victim provoked with words.  Some states have provocative word defenses written into their criminals statutes.  I don't think roasting an attendee at an awards event is sufficient.

This is a good example when the dope should have known that calling the man the N word was going to provoke that reaction.

Over due

Former season ticket holder at the VET 600 Level... I got to see from a safe distance what the unstable portion of Eagles fans in the 700 level were capable of.
