My wife's comment was that it was an old old school challenge-to-a-duel kind of slap.

I would also add that black women take a lot more crap about their looks than white women do.

?? Maybe? I guess, but I have never seen a meme anything even similar to the below aimed at WOC

Health takes Williams off that list for me.

Wilson was actually not dominant at the college level.

70 for 1,058 and 12 TD's in 11 games isn't elite? Olave did 65 for 936 and 13 in 12 games. And Wilson did not get as much playing time in 2019/2020 as Olave.

There was no glove present, therefore I demand satisfaction tomorrow at dawn, you choose the weapons sir!

That's a good list. If you're in a small-conference, you have to be elite (ex: Khalil Mack, Ed Oliver). This doesn't apply to QBs (Lance, Wentz, Allen, Wilson, etc.)

Guys who this fits: Jordan Davis, Derek Stingley, Kyle Hamilton, Travon Walker, Aiden Hutchinson, Ahmad Gardner, Evan Neal, Ikem  Ekwonu, Chris Olave

Ed Oliver went to UH.  AAC isn’t a "small conference”.  It also has some pretty big schools.  Biggest school in FL, UH is third biggest in Texas behind A&M and Texas.   I would guess that ACC, Big 12 are small-conference by that definition.

Not sure Stingley fits.  Not convinced Hamilton fits. (By the way, Gardner was in the same conference as Oliver).

The point was you made it sound like Karlaftis and Barnett's college production numbers were equivalent. They aren't remotely close.

Oh I didnt realize that. Thanks for clarifying.

Completely agree.  In round 3, I’ll buy that he’s the same scouting report as Dak and Drew Brees.  But there’s a reason Dak and Brees weren’t first round picks.  In round 1, we should have different requirements.

I dont really expect Howell to be a 1st round pick either.

I suspect the reason for 32 teams being present is to try to understand the decline.

Howie said in his presser that they didn't want to bring in free agents that would impede their first round picks from seeing the field.

Does that mean they are holding WR2 open?  CB2, LB, and Safety?

Howie also tried to defend his lack of success at brining in a weapon or weapons by saying there are only so many balls to go around.  With Smith, Goedert and our running game.  Pretty much confirming what we all have been saying.  Our limited passing game will hamper this team because of the QB.

Yea, his answer made no sense. He was trying to push back on WR's don't want to play here because of Hurts and just said in a long winded way that WR's don't want to play here because of Hurts

DE too...

Part of swinging for a homerun is that if you're too aggressive, you're not even paying attention to the kind of pitch that's coming. Don't get so excited for the HR that you misevaluate what's coming at you.

I get the analogy.  But again, that’s suggesting that Reagor had a chance at being a star.  It was more like he swung when the they intentionally walked him.  There was no chance that pick was a good one.

This.  He turned a no-brainer pick into a brainless pick.

No Dyami Brown, no Dazz Newsome, no Javonte Williams, no Michael Carter.  North Carolina isn't a program that can fill those positions like the powerhouse schools.

Why he defaulted to taking off and running, trying to do it all himself is a relevant question to ask.

But I don't think the Eagles are going to win championships building around Justin Smiths. They already have a lot of guys like that. They need a Von Miller type. And sure the risk of a bust may be greater, but I think it's worth it. This team has lacked elite talent on D for years. No playmaking CB since Samuel. No force at LB since Trotter, really. No edge rusher who has 15+ sack potential in ages.

Sadly, I don't think this team has any Justin Smith kind of guys.

Any chance we go after Trevor Penning in round 1?  Seems like a John Runyan type clone and Lane carries a big number with him next year.

I think LB is still somewhat unlikely.  Not sure what they're paying Kyzir White, but it would appear that Edwards and White would get most of the starter snaps for 2022.

I'd love to see a first round safety but I'd put the best odds at DL, WR, and CB being the first 3 picks.

Brown, Williams, Carter, Newsome all gone…they don’t have the Bama or Georgia recruiting classes at NC.

For the life of me I cannot understand the hostility to Megan Markle, nor to Prince Harry. If you want to bust on a Royal, it should be Prince Andrew, whom they covered for for years. If you have a 10-year-old daughter, he's your new best friend.

Prince Andrew is a vile human being.  The only thing he deserves in life is a one way trip to check out how cold Saturn is. I despise that man and his attitude of it'll blow over; it won't and should not ever.  I won't shed a tear when he passes away.

As for Meghan. Let me say she has a free spirited attitude to the truth and I'll leave it at that. I do resent the implication of British Racism when their wedding was such a great community event for all when things were not the greatest.  I wish I could be more positive, but I can't.  But I do wish them health, happiness and prosperity on a human level.

At the end of the day, is 'Prince' Harry actually a royal?

Yes, he is Diana's son, but I mean, who's the actual Daddy here.......

Google says James Hewitt, not Charles, is 'real father' of Prince Harry

James Hewitt            Harry                    Charles

Once you see it, it's there.  I've always wondered if any in the family has done a sly DNA test to work if he is one of them or not- but Diana's family do have ginger and baldies in them too so there is a doubt there.

Why do draft hats always suck. Howie Roseman must be designing these because that dude should have been fired years ago.

Don't all go trading Jalen Hurts away at once now

There’s nothing about Reagor in college that would indicate he was a "home run” swing.  He was a reach by a bad GM who panicked.  Plain and simple.

He didn't panic.  They just missed the evaluation.
