I dont want athletic ability QBs. I want a progression read QB that can throw all the routes with good accuracy and hes not it.

Agreed.   But talking about the big play... Jones needed to know the situation and recognize that the lone timeout left was gold in that moment.   Catch and run was great... but hug the sideline and get everything you can with the clock stopping at the end.

Then you’ve got exactly two of those. And both will be first rounders. One has smaller hands than Trump and the other has a worse knee than Betty White.

His ability to put the ball where the receiver will be always impressed me.  But release has to go to Marino and processing I would give to Peyton although playing with two of the best route runners of all time didn’t hurt Manning.

Obviously he isn’t our long term option, but if he can had for cheap it will help the development of our offense next season. Smith isn’t going to develop as quickly with Hurts throwing the ball.

Peyton had a switch that made his processing go away in the playoffs though.  I always found it startling how bad he was in the playoffs.

I'd rather we just go get a long term answer in Watson then, or at least try.

To be honest, SF's system is based on getting Kittle the ball and scheming 2 raw positionless players open, with a heavy dose of the run.

I think he can get too caught up in his play calling that he misses some other game management things, but he's gotta be one of the best game planners and schemers in the NFL.

The collection of players on O is quite weird for them.  You have Kittle who is starting to feel the effects of usage, 2 positionless players, and a collection of jags at RB.  I like Jimmy G, he's not elite but he's good enough.  I think the scheme as a whole is very chaotic/multiple personality disorder.

Jalen Hurts would make a nice Deebo Samuel clone.

Deebo and Reagor are pretty comparable 🙄🙄
