Who said they had a really good QB?  They had a young developing inexperienced QB that showed growth from his limited action as a rookie and won over the locker room and he and took a team to the playoffs that no one was expecting to make the playoffs especially after they fell into a hole in the first half of the season.   You look around at how many teams are QB desperate and don't have one and the Eagles are in a pretty good spot QB wise.

I didn't say anything about slot CBs not being important. I said Maddox specifically isn't any great piece to a defense. He's just another guy out there.

And yet you have teams that played in just as bad of a division like the Vikings with a better passer in Kirk Cousins who didn't make it as a wild card like the Eagles.

So we have a worse passer than Kirk Cousins.  Sounds like a reason to upgrade to me.

The Eagles have made the playoffs 3 times in the Roseman era with 9 wins with the advantage of playing in a terrible division.   This we made the playoffs nonsense is fool's gold. We weren't a legit contender.

I’d point out Minnesota went 8-9 and cousins got covid and missed a game in week 17. I believe if they would’ve won that game they’d have made the playoffs over eagles and saints at 9-8.  And it’s not like they didn’t have a shot they lost every game but that week 17 game by one score or less. And they beat GB 6 weeks earlier 

Good news is we will have our answers in 4 weeks.  I know the Hurts Squirts will be on edge all weekend when the Eagles are on the clock.
