For the amount of vitriol he gets, you'd think he went on some racist bigoted rant.

All he did was say he didn't get the vaccine because he's allergic to polyethylene glycol, so he pursued alternative ways to protect from the virus, said the woke mob is trying to cancel him, and somehow that angered people. It's absolutely insane. Totally innocuous.

It's why I theorize it's not the vaccine people are actually annoyed about. I think it has more to do with the fact that he used "right wing buzz words" like "woke mob" and the second any athlete shows a modicum of not being very far left, social media completely turns on them. Happened to Enes Kanter. He was a popular player for the longest time for speaking out against Turkey and Erdogan. The second he started calling people out for turning their backs to China's prison camps and went on a couple right wing leaning talk shows, everyone hates him now.

when you have an opinion against the media, national or local, and you are a superstar you are gonna get plastered no matter what, Im not against folks for their choice of vacc. or not being vacc., Im for choice in this matter, but Im a nobody so it doesnt matter about my opinion

Being in different conferences means only once every 4 years if they both win their division the year prior.

I know Rodgers is a polarizing figure and 'easy' to hate...but I like to inject some perspective into things from time to time!

 Peyton and Brady were in the same conference.

I think Lynch knows what he’s doing.  It’s plain to see that Jimmy G is a passenger on this run so far.  Unless they win the SB and it is sentimentally necessary to stick with Jimmy G, that job will and should belong to Lance when he’s ready.  Even a SB appearance won’t do it.

He didnt complete a pass until less than 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, I think.  Though, to be fair, there were some early drops.

I would never forgive the packers if they made me sit in negative degree weather in the snow and then lose.

Yeah…I didn’t forgive Chip Kelly when I took my son to Lambeau for the 53-20 debacle in 2014.  The wind chill was like 15 degrees.  It had to be even colder last night.  It’s easier for the Packer fans to stay warm because they were all sauced up.  I couldn’t drink to stay warm because I had a 4 hour drive back home.  Talk about a brutal experience

This Packers team is not elite.

All the more reason the Eagles should go all in for a QB this offseason.

So we can lose to teams with a better roster?

You are literally trying to make a point using facts that directly contradict the point you are trying to make.

The 49ers game is the best evidence we have that a team with an average qb can do well as long as you build around them. And if the 49ers had stayed at 12 and drafted Parsons, maybe they win a Super Bowl this year.

Meanwhile, you want us to get a qb who is going to be worse than Rodgers, so we can put him on a roster that is worse than Green Bay's, and somehow that's going to win us a Super Bowl?

😂😂😂

It's not a good example. They didn't score an offensive TD, only scored 2 FG, 106 yards passing, 212 total offense.  They needed one of the rarest plays in football to win: blocked punt that was returned for a TD.  They won but it is not an example of how to win, it is the exception of how to win.  Knowing that difference is vital.

The Packers are in a precarious position.  Despite being one of the franchises that is part of the NFL’s royal family, they are still located in Green Bay.  For the last 30 years, they have had a celebrity QB…not just a franchise QB.

Jordan Love is very talented; if he turns out to be a stud, they are in good shape.  If he busts and they enter QB purgatory…that franchise will see hardships it has never endured in its history.  Green Bay in the NFL’s instagram era without a hyper elite QB to keep them a contender and to be a draw for players?  Cleveland and Cincinnati look like Miami and Vegas next to Green Bay.

Great, let's get an average qb and an elite team!

I was at that game as well. It was a 12 hour drive so we made a weekend out of it... did the stadium tour, pre-game tailgate at Stadium View, Favre's steakhouse, etc. Absolutely freezing cold and the Eagles laid a gigantic egg. It was basically over when Hyde returned that punt for a TD in the first quarter. Terrible game.

As opposed to your plan of magically acquiring a top 5 qb and letting everything else work itself out.

We are still going to have to trade a first round pick for that average QB, assuming Jimmy G or Carr are available.  I’m not seeing any average or near average QB’s on this roster.

I would argue that settling for a crap QB and assuming everything else will magically work out en route to a SB win is not an ideal plan.

That's wild that San Fran has had 5 NFC Title Game appearances with 3 Different QBs in the last Decade.

None of them remotely elite, either.

Some would say that but they all played well enough to get their teams there.   People need to realize "Teams" win Super Bowls not just the QB.   San Fran's Defense is why they won these last 2 games, Jimmy G has only played OK at best.

So is that the road map you want to use?

We’ve seen that you can win a SB without an elite defense.  You can get to a NFCCG without an elite QB.  You can win a SB without great WRs or an elite DL.

We don’t have an elite QB, an elite defense, great WRs, or a dangerous DL.  We’ve got it ALL covered.  For the life of me, I don’t understand why we aren’t still in the playoffs as a favorite.

49ers are underrated IMO. Three straight wins in must-win game in LA, Dallas, and now Green Bay. That defense has been on a roll. I could see them winning it all.

Interesting final three in the NFC. I think LA is a bad matchup for TB because Ramsey can help neutralize Evans — even in the slot. Gronk is an issue for sure, but the other healthy receivers are bad. Donald can apply pressure right in Brady’s face.

That said, I think the Bucs match up really well with SF. They have an OL to slow down their pass rush, and the Niners don’t have an answer for Evans other than to double. They have the defense to force Jimmy G to win the game.

I would break something if we traded a first-round pick for Jimmy G.

I think that’s because the Packers choked, SF is lucky to be in the title game, and they generally don’t match up as well with any high end team that makes it this far in the playoffs.

As would I.

Jimmy G playoff record: 5-1

Jimmy G playoff stats: 2 TDs, 5 Ints, 121 yds per game

Thats wild.

San Fran handled Adam’s enough I think they would be fine in that matchup.

They doubled him, and they don’t have a secondary weapon at WR/TE. The Bucs have Gronk.

Rodgers played fine last night. Without MVS/Dillon/Tunyan, they doubled Adams after the 1st drive and made other guys beat him. They also played without their 2 best OL (Jenkins, Baktiahri).

Still, this shows the importance of teams. It's not just the QB.
