I'm a fan of sauce.  Sauce on my ribs, sauce on my chicken, sauce on my pasta.   But, when you get sauce on your shirt... you need to do the laundry.

Good example is Evander Holyfield who bought this huge mansion in GA that he did not need and all the upkeep involved in it (cleaning expenses, repairs to rooms he never even went in, etc.) was one of the factors in his financial troubles.  Should have just bought a nice little McMansion instead.

Too many athletes spend the money like it's always going to come every year.  They don't think about the afterwards part of their career. 

Surprised some sharp retired players who took advantage of their scholarships and took financing classes don't start an investment/financial consultant company for other NFL players.  Would seem a good way to get the trust of players looking to invest their money for after their careers when it's other retired NFL players handling things instead of Joe Schmoe who might see it more as an opportunity for himself (ask Mark Brunell).

When I was in college, I remember Wharton had a program available to all NFL rookies to discuss exactly this.  I know the nfl also offers remote course to all players on finances.

This stuff isn’t all that hard to look up.  Watching the 2 players through their careers it’s clear Minshew is a target passer who throws to spots.  He’s a 63.2% career passer.

Hurts is a running QB who lofts his throws and looks his best as a passer out of the sandlot after the scripted play breaks down (although in many cases it’s Hurts himself who has gone off-script)

I think its more a regional thing. Part of italy calls it sauce and another part calls it gravy.
