That’s a boring position to take. Here’s mine: For me the NFL is sport second, entertainment first. Mock drafts keep me entertained so they fulfill the main purpose there is for football to me pretty well.

Agreed. I almost enjoy the off-season as much as the season.

I'd put Kelce above Goedert too.

We all take mocking you quite seriously.

To be clear, I could not have been more sarcastic with that post  🤣

My only complaint is that I wish that PFF would update their draft board so the mocks would be more accurate. Having Davis available at 15 99% of the time seems unrealistic to me at this point.

I don't think there's much woke about her comedy.  Her jokes are just not original.

Like I was convinced we weren’t making all 3 firsts round picks before, I’m convinced we’re not done moving around this first round.  We’re trading down at some point.  And it would be wise.

I think it's almost as likely they will trade up in the first.  I don't know that they're in an ideal position to move down any farther but I could see a team that needs a WR, like Green Bay, trading a bunch to get ahead of NO if they stay put.

My problem with London is he feasted by finding holes in the zone defense. (Burkes did a fair amount of that at Arkansas. I do like his body adjustments.  But I like Pickens too.  Watched a lot of Evans at A&M, who you comp London to.  Don’t see it as a good comp.  Evans was a step up from any WR in this draft. Of course, we have Smith as the #1 WR and Watkins speed, so any of the tall WRs not named Watson are okay with me, although all seem a little stiff.  Just can’t abide by Watson’s drops. Fast is nice but hands are better.

They all see zone , turn on some Olave and watch him playing against zone , all WOs see it , because it’s the d of choice , most teams play it at times

As for Evans seen every Bucs game , he has lots of contested catches , rarely runs away from anyone , unless they slip or blow a coverage.

separation  is a step or two not running free  , unless your a track star and way a 190

im beating a dead horse though  , London is my favorite WO and that’s that.

While I'd love that, I worry about finding a trade partner. Seems like quite a few teams are positioned to want to move down.

Agreed they're not done maneuvering though.

I can see a trade back with Steelers (QB) and Packers & Chiefs (WR)

I don’t know. He is a monster no doubt and one of my favorite targets but I don‘t think he‘s ideal for many teams. Really if you only play 4-3 like most teams do you really go for him before 15?

Maybe that‘s just me hoping he falls to us but feels like if you draft him you‘d want him to play your giant NT in a 3-4 from time to time at the very least.

Kinda like Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah and the rest of the late night gang.  She's the cream of the crop though.

Completely disagree.  They’re not in the position to trade up in this underwhelming first round.

It depends. Let‘s say they fall in love with a guy like Gardner and he is there at 12. I‘d be fine with that iE.

I think Colbert is pretty funny at times but I agree the general political correctness is a bit annoying. Then again I don‘t even know a conservative comedian. If anyone wants to point out one to me I‘d be grateful.

Brian Regan is one of my favorites.  He doesn't really bring politics in to his act, he's just a clean comedian.  Really big fan of Sebastian Maniscalco too.

Spoken like a steadfast pessimist, as usual. Points for consistency.

Heard this point on the radio last week but thought it was interesting: The Bears pretty much have to trade back at some point. They can't even field a full team at this point and only have 6 picks and no first. I'm sure they'll go heavy at UDFA too but still.

Remember when the blog was beating the drums on trading Goedert or letting him walk?

No.  However, it is frustrating that he is almost always wide open and consistently gets less than 5 targets a game bc Hurts is unable to process anything.

So he got the second highest grade last season how? Throwing to himself? Blocking?

Ahh alright, so we will memory hole the blog pounding the drum to trade Goedert or let him walk and how much of a mistake it would be to sign him to a new deal.  That's convenient.

This has literally nothing to do with what I posted.  I think that Goedert is awesome.  I was pointing out that he is completely underutilized.  Of course, he was awesome during the Jets game without Squirts targeting him.

Also consistently gets less than 5 targets?  Huh?  Once Ertz was traded after the 6th game of the season Goedert only got less than 5 targets a game in 3 games the rest of the season and one of those was the Denver game when he got knocked out after his 2nd target on the 2nd drive of the game for the Eagles in the 1st quarter.
