Some guy in Denmark that just recycles other peoples tweets

Well I'm sure he's well informed and a wealth of knowledge as we all know Danes are just one tweet away from schefter on the totem poll of in the know of NFL insiders ...😒

I think we do but we will find out for sure this year.  Regardless the offense has plenty of young cornerstone players throughout it.  Which is a direct opposite of what we see in the offensive side of the ball. (*defensive side?)

Youth is great moving forward. But to win this year or next year aging stars might well be good enough.

But for those of you here to suggest if the Eagles win the Super Bowl this upcoming season or the following with Hurts that you wouldn't re-sign him because they would have won in spite of him is silly because of they win the Super Bowl it will be, among other reasons, that Hurts took a substantial step forward.

Agreed and I haven’t given up on Hurts yet. But some teams do let SB winners go thinking the team won despite of them I guess - just ask Foles.

This defense is going to suddenly turn into the 2000 Ravens overnight because of the addition of Reddick.  There is potential upside in place on offense.  There really isn't any on defense at this stage.

No.

I’ve seen good things from our defense. You can say that was only because of the weak offenses but I don’t think that’s fair at all. There are still good players here. Problem is just most of them will be gone in a few years which makes them suboptimal for a long term rebuild.

You'd be lucky if Eagles didn't pass on Hamilton at 18. Suggesting they trade up for him shows you don't really know this team.

Please don’t cite that guy as a reliable source.  He doesn’t know D about D.  And he looks and talks like a muppet.

No one.

I would’ve only posted the first part from Tony Pauline which i put in here two months ago he said he had been hearing from teams he was a midfirst rounder and would fall out of the top 10. The second part i think is Thomas the dumb train’s opinion.

Played off so much he wasn’t that successful in coverage.  8 PDs, 1 Int, 108 rating.  2/3rd of his targets were completions, 12 yd completion average.  McPhearson, albeit a smaller sample, was just over 50% completion rate, 69 rating (lower than Slay’s) and a completion average close to Slays. Now don’t take that as a comparison of McPhearson to Slay, take that as how poor Nelson was.  Granted a small sample size but Nelson was the worst of the starters and of those that got playing time enough to say much about, only Wallace and Epps were worse in rating and completion percentage. Now, I know that Gannon and Wilson were running a loose zone most of the year and it wasn’t pretty for most of the DBs but Nelson wasn’t very good.  Not a big loss.

All relative. See I want to agree but given our past I feel uneasy to even let a semi-decent corner leave before we find someone that upgrades that position.

This defense has no chance of turning into a historically great all time defense this season.  They could draft the next Reggie White in this draft and that won't turn this into an all time great dominant defense.

I would love to see who was the most commonly drafted player in all of the simulated mock drafts shared in the blog the past 3 months.  I would have to put my money on the Punter from SDS.

Funny thing is I could have swore I saw he was one of the Eagles top 30 visits coming up on a tweet or nfl network or somewhere, lol. Looks like the EMB made Howie think for once and give him an idea

I like Hamilton alot I think he's one of the best defensive players in the draft, and the eagles haven't ever in their history drafted a Safety in the 1st round, sadly I don't think they break that trend this year.

I see Molly Shannon is accusing Gary Coleman of sexual harassment.  Good grief.

Never mind the guy has been dead for more than 10 years and can't defend himself, also that he was 4 1/2 feet tall so you could have just thrown him down a stairwell if he bothered you.

Gimme a break.

Sign Honey Badger, draft on defense and they could catch lightning in a bottle.

Not even that big of a turnaround.

I cant wait to see Hamilton on the board at 15..  And Lowie take Raimann or McDuffie

I've heard other stories that Coleman was a little perv so I wouldn't doubt it.

But yeah if Gary Coleman tried to put his hands on me I'd drop kick him back to the circus

No, it most definitely would be an absolutely monumental turnaround for this defense to turn into an all time historically great dominant defense.  Honey Badger won't do that either.  We don't even have another outside CB on the roster and it's mid-April which means we will be rolling with another bargain bin signing that no one else wants right before camp or going with a rookie at a position that typically struggles as a rookie.

Yup. If Howie wanted a QB, he wouldn't have traded a 1st. Not his M.O.

I don't recall anything with Araiza. I remember they watched and maybe met with Jordan Stout at either his proday or the combine.

He's no Emmanuel Lewis, that's for damn sure

According to the thread in The Eagles Are Interested In, the verified top-30 official visits thus far have been:

QB -- Corral

WR -- Pickens, Williams

OL -- Kenyon Green, Tyler Smith

DT -- Davis, Wyatt, Winfrey

DE -- Ebikete, Luketa, Thibodeaux, DeAngelo Malone

CB -- Booth, Gardner, Marcus Jones

At 15 we get Lloyd, 18 booth jr.

Dallas gets Davis. Thoughts? Not a bad mock, seeing how the board fell.

Private workout with Araiza. Big Ed does a nice job of,consolidating the Eagles interest in players in the draft section of the EMB.

He's the muppet who basically retweets information and acts like the source.

Kurt Warner on Matt Carrol:

- Uses his eyes very well to see the field and manipulate defenders.

- Really good compact delivery with touch on the passes.

- Very good with the quick passing game and quick decisions.

- Does not overpower the throw unnecessarily.

- Ability to throw from different platforms.

- Limits the movements when throwing the ball which leads to efficient throws.

Bottom Line: Actuary, decision making, and quick delivery.

Kurt Warner is a grocery store clerk that can throw a football not  a talent evaluator.
