Fran, Fran, Fran :nonono:  Didn’t you notice where Pascal was on the field for the receptions you highlighted?  I mean is that a good demonstration of him when Hurts is the passer?

Swap out Cam Thomas with Sam Williams and Walker with Muma

2 long weeks ahead

It's going to drive me nuts. With nothing going on we're just going to have everyone's hot takes flying around. The only pro day left is USC tomorrow (for Drake London).

I think Jeremy Ruckert is going to be a great pro.

Agreed.

Raptors 76ers this weekend....I think the 6ers should score more than enough to win, but Siakam has done well covering Embiid in the past. I think 76ers in 6 likely...you guys?

We know Doc isn't winning anything ever so Raptors in 7 to put us out of our misery

I don't see a lot of chatter about Nik Bonitto.  Another guy I'd like to see the Eagles target.

Knowing Philly, Raptors in 5

Nick Cross and the dude from Cincinnati are solid R3 options

I like him. Not significantly more than Ruckert/Thomas but yeah he would be a good pick there. I also like McKinley and Woods as late round dart throws. Any would have made that draft better

Let's go Raptors.

Nurse vs. Doc? What go could wrong.

Can Harden make a shot is what it probably will come down to.  Need games 1 and 2 without Tisse being able to play in game 3 and 4

I have Raptors in 6.  No bench, doc, and harden is washed.

Big fan in the mid rounds.

I'd like to see the Sixers put B-Ball Paul on Siakam.  He's really our best option but Doc will do something stupid like put Jordan on him.  Sixers in 6

I like him a lot. Seems a bit redundant with Reddick but maybe I'm looking at it wrong.

I can see that too.

And JT Woods for Butler. I also don't see Pierce or Emerson available that late.

3-4 OLB is a better fit for him, or the Reddick role. Neither of which seem particularly necessary here.

Well if Gannon really wants to establish this position in his system we would need two guys able to play it.

Patrick Johnson would be the 2nd string, same as he was behind Avery.

Doesn't matter who Howie picks, there will be ****in' galore.

But it'll be hard to not improve this team with the picks they'll have, spread around the draft they can target a lot of different players.

If the punter is good enough, I have no problem taking him in the 4th rd, a top punter is probably worth 500+ net yards over the course of the season, so who you pickin' in the 4th round who'll have that kind of impact?

This could be said every year, yet here we are.

But you’re right that people will ****.

Not really good enough I think. Say Reddick misses some time or needs rest that’s a huge drop-off. I get that we won’t get a top tier guy to rotate there but..

If we really, really mean it and want this to work a guy like Drake Jackson would fit that bill best. And tweeners do tend to drop.

Just did this on PFN (their rankings have been updated more recently than PFF and the trading is more realistic):

Trades:

15, 101, 2023 3rd for 13 (MIN)
18 for 39, 48, 71 (CHI)
83 for 98, 120 (NO)

Draft:

image.png.49b6ea97fab8de8c394a39fc513d0067.png

That gets us 6 top-100 picks, 5 on defense which is great for a rebuilding team...more lottery tickets:

A stud NT

2 young EDGE rushers (one with a speed game, one with a power game) with high production and great measureables

A bonafide X WR to play across from DeVonta

A center field FS who can also cover slot WR's

Potential #2 CB to compete with the other youngbucks for the spot across from Slay

A thumper MLB prospect to compete with Edwards

Really solid #2 TE with nice size and athletic profile

A Sanders replacement who can play all 3 downs

The PUNT GOD to replace that stiff Siposs

And a really nice late OL prospect for Stoutland to play with

The value of the draft for me isn't really in 18-32, it's in that 40-100 range. So, the more picks there the merrier in my opinion.

Johnson was a late round prospect. I think Drake at 83 or 101 is more palatable for me than Bonnito in R2 if we want to upgrade his spot.

Here's my top 5 prospect rankings at the offensive and defensive positions:

QB -- Pickett, Ridder, Howell, Corral, Willis

RB -- Walker, Hall, Robinson, Zamir White, Spiller

IOL -- Zion Johnson, Linderbaum, Kenyon Green, Parham, Tyler Smith

OT -- Neal, Ekonwu, Cross, Penning, Raimann

WR -- Williams, Olave, Burks, Wilson, Pickens

DT -- Davis, Winfrey, Wyatt, Leal, Travis Jones

DE -- Hutchinson, Thibodeaux, Walker, Johnson, Karlaftis

LB -- Lloyd, Dean, Harris, Chenal, Tindall

CB -- Gardner, Booth, Stingley, McDuffie, Elam

S -- Hamilton, Hill, Brisker, Cine, Pitre
