Jaw is currently wired shut after getting sucker punched in a gas station parking lot. A-hole brake checked me so I flipped him the bird. He followed me after I exited, pulled up next to me and kicked the side mirror off my car. Followed him to a populated gas station parking lot and as I was pulling up the phone camera to get his plates he sucker punched me through the window. Broke my jaw and knocked me out, brain bleed and concussed. Woke up in the ambulance having no idea where I was.

Multiple witnesses caught the guy on camera plus surveillance video to the cops. They got the guy and I'm pressing charges. Jaw could be wired shut for a month.

There's crazy people out there. Be careful who you piss off I guess. 🤷‍♂️

Damn, that sucks dude.

I'll write a letter to the gas station asking what they plan on doing to prevent this from happening again.

Person has to be smarter than that , you’re asking to get your head lumped up by giving someone the bird .

It still does not mean you deserve it.

I have a rule...I don't ride someone's ass unless they also let me pull their hair. JK dude, glad you're ok. Sounds like with multiple witnesses and video, should be an easy prosecution.

It really is amazing how people react when you give them the finger.

I was pulling out of a gas station just over a year ago and cut someone off -- my fault, didn't see him coming -- I hit the brakes and put both palms into the air to signal my mistake.  He was yelling and making hand gestures.  I waved my left hand forward to signal him to go ahead, and he kept yelling.  I didn't pull out far enough to block his path of travel so he could go at any time.  I waved him to go ahead again, and he still didn't move.  By this point I got pissed off, so I flipped him off.

I checked traffic to make sure it was good for me to go, then checked his vehicle again to make sure I didn't cut him off again.  He had exited the vehicle.  Fortunately my first thought was "I'm going".  As I pulled out into the road I saw him on the full run toward my vehicle.  He slammed his fist into my driver's side window (fortunately my window was closed as it was January and -25C).  He didn't pack a hard enough punch, because he didn't break or crack my side window.  At this point I was furious.  Last thing I saw out my rear view was him walking back to his vehicle.

I don't know how some people get so angry at a minor things.

Sammy Watkins could be a helluva bargain signing.  Both he and Cooks will be 29 entering the season.  Granted, Cooks is still a 1,000 yard WR but I think Watkins still has a lot to offer the right team.

Olave is extremely polished and one of the smoothest route runners I've seen in some time.  I love his game.  I'm torn on the 1st round WR available...if they are there at 15.

Jameson Williams IMO is the perfect combination of Devonta Smith and Ja'Marr Chase.

Olave is just smooth, fast with great hands.

London could be Mike Evans 2.0 or he could be JJAW but the traits and ability are there.

Garrett Wilson is a slightly "worse" Olave.

Treylon Burks has TO qualities about him.

What stinks is I think there's a 99% chance the Redskins come away with one of them.  I think the Giants could surprise and take a WR early with one of their picks too.

This page, and most Eagle blogs have a weird and frustrating obsession with Wide Receivers.

How does my post mean I'm obsessed with WR?  Was purely stating that I think Sammy Watkins has something to offer the right team and comparing him to Brandin Cooks, who is the same age and just scored a $20 million contract.

Now my next post was more about WR and the Eagles.  I think you're seeing a league wide trend where the teams that want to compete for a SB are loading up 3 deep at WR.  The Eagles need to catch up.

It's a weird class. I could see any of them going in almost any order and wouldn't be shocked.

Didn't know Goedert was considered a top TE already

Should Mailata really be counted when they were just taking a shot in the dark. He's pretty much the definition of a lottery player

Frankly maddox hasn’t been a top 10 slot corner outside of last year. He was solid as a rookie but also got hurt. The next two years he was injury prone and not good when he actually played whether that was outside or slot. in 2019 before sendejo knock him out he had the highest completion percentage and QBR against him when he played in the slot. His last 4 years graded by pff: 63.3, 58.9, 37.8 and 72.8. Maddox could either way in 2022. Hopefully he continues his trend from this year cause we need him too. but would it really surprise anyone if he got banged up and took a step back? Probably not

could care less about the finger. Westbrook followed him and went to confront him.

He didn't go to confront him from my reading, he went to get the person's license plate to report them to the police. I may be making an improper assumption just like you might be, but regardless violence like that is not deserved for the actions that were taken and if you believe it is, please go seek therapy.

Damn that sucks. Thankfully it wasn’t worse. We had someone out in Arizona earlier this year shoot another person. Also good that people  were able  to catch the guy on camera and also call for an ambulance.

A 2nd WR in this offense is quite literally pointless.

We don't need WR we need H-Backs!!!

He's right though.

i disagree. while its not a priority compared to other positions, its a need. one you don't ignore and certainly not literally pointless.

We really have no idea what the Eagles are looking for in a Z to pair with Smith at X.

Or even if they want an X to have Smith more at Z.

Olave and Smith is deadly as two guys that run around always wide open. On the other hand,  it's horrible for the run game because Olave provides nothing there.

Drake London is an excellent blocker but major bust potential.

Pickens and Pierce give you the most complete skillet as individuals, as well as adding differing traits to the WR corps that we don't yet have. Imo either one of them (even Phillips) is the way to go.

But I could totally see a team,  including us just being in love with having 2 completely unguardable route runners when you pair Olave here. Or the speed of Williams. But there's definitely a lot of give and take in that scenario. I prefer a more well rounded attack.

*IF* you have an altercation like that on the road way, and then you FOLLOW someone into a parking lot you're Lucky to be alive.

I can agree to that to a degree because there are crazy people out there, but the comment that you agreed with is they *deserved* it, which signifies some deeper seeded issues.

There is a fine line between asking for something and deserving it.  You don't deserve everything you ask for,  but if you ask the right person they may be in a giving mood and you're Fd.

The moral is don't flip someone off and follow them. That's asking for it. That is road rage itself.

That's the tough love lesson. On the same token,  I'm sorry to hear that happened to Westbrook. And I'm relieved that's all he got.  Someone like his assailant could have had a gun.

That's why you don't do that stuff.

Maybe a dash cam is a better idea so you don't have to follow someone to get their plate.
