Ok.  I thought you were on the opposite side of this discussion.  The Rams didn't 'buy' it.  They are working within the salary cap, but decided not to use draft picks but to trade them.   And they will have a short window.

I guess in a sense you can say they 'bought' players with draft picks.  That's about the furtherest that can go.

Yeah me neither. I mean under McVay they have been to the SB once, they have a great chance this year and they've been a contender... There's a cap limit and so all teams are even in that sense. 

If the comment is referring to the Rams bringing in a lot of their talent via trade rather than the draft then ok sure... But isn't the point to build a roster and to win the SB? Rams are much better placed to do so than we are.
