The fact we got a second rounder and DRC for him was a nice heist.

Im not even remotely interested in anyone else. He's the guy. Hope they find a way to get him on day 2. Which QB do you think he's alluding to?

Yea I'm sure the Eagles FO is leaking board grades and thought processes to a fired, ex-employee

Reid also drafted Nick Foles.

Pickett or Corral.

Lol yes I too wish we had two 31 year old CBs with big contracts on this rebuilding team.

Still Reid picked him

My guess would be willis.

See that's what i thought at first but i just dont see how they would give his film a 1st rd grade. He definitely has first round traits though. I think it's Strong. The arm, film & production are all 1st round quality. The knee is what makes him a gamble. He's also the most similar QB in this draft stylistically to Sirianni's guy Philip Rivers. I could be wrong though because Willis certainly fits the description of a "gamble".

Signing Gilmore didn't make sense for Eagles imo but the fact that they likely bid for him shows how confused Howie's approach to the offseason has been

Is that a for or against argument?

Yeah I think it's Strong too.  Maybe Corral because he's like Wilson who they liked.

I dont really see Pickett as a gamble. I guess Corral fits the description. Could be him

I mean 4 out of 5 isn’t bad when you have mcnabb, mahomes, foles, feeley. All those guys i saw were successes with reid. Could add he got the best year as a passer out of Vick’s career.

Letting Pickett hold your newborn baby is a huge gamble with those carney hands of his.

I could definitely see it being Corral. He's talented but his play style scares me. Dude puts his body in harms way ALOT. Eagles might not want to gamble on a guy like that again.

I think the gamble with willis is the jump in competition and if his accuracy will ever be good enough to be an elite/great QB at the nfl level. depending on who we believe was the one who wanted hurts, I think the eagles would like willis considering he can give you a lot of what hurts does but with a better arm talent.

Yeah I like Corral for this team but he's already gotten hurt in college numerous times.  That body type in the nfl with the play style seems to very much fall into the risky category

Probably going to be anywhere from 8-10 wins. Their schedule has 10 winnable games with giants (2), Washington (2), lions, bears, houston, jags, Steelers and New Orleans. they still have Minnesota, Arizona, colts, titans, packers and cowboys (2). Very much see them somewhere between 8-10 wins.

I think people are underestimating our schedule. Lots of teams that have made some great additions or are just getting healthy

No one's going to be perfect, and Kolb could have been better if his brains didn't become mashed potatoes.

Honestly what teams on their schedule got better this off-season? I’d argue GB, Dallas, New Orleans got worse. Jags, colts, Washington and Minnesota might have.  I’d argue Matt Ryan could actually be worse than Carson Wentz was last year. Matt Ryan might be done. Washington got Carson Wentz but also lost their best offensive lineman. And the jags still suck. We haven’t even discussed the off the field crap going on with the Cardinals. I don’t think the Steelers are better right now than they were end of the last year. If anything they are the same. Lions might get better but they are so awful they aren’t going to turn around that much. Bears traded their best defensive player and hicks is still a FA

If you are willing I’d bet 7 as a push. But 8+ I’d win. You get the 6 and under. Unless the eagles get crushed with injuries. There’s 7-8 victories on this schedule

Commies get Young back. Their defense was pretty good on paper but had issues last season

I'm expecting Lawrence to make a leap

Packers lost Adams but they still have Rodgers

If Colts rely on the run game to help Ryan then they may be average but I'd agree that I'm not that worried

Dallas definitely got worse but those division games have been difficult. Who knows

I don't know about Saints. I don't think Winston sucks but he's a nice 1 year guy. They may lose Kamara for a few weeks

Vikings looked like they were ready years ago but didn't make it and have been pretty much stuck

Just my opinion but I don't think we get 8 wins

I definitely think it's one of Willis, Strong or Corral. Then again, that HonestNFL guy could be full of $hit.

Dallas got worse but shellacked us last year, not even counting the game that was meaningless. Not saying Eagles can't beat them but I don't think they got worse enough to feel confident they can beat them.

We're not beating Dallas while starting Jalen Hurts.
