Here's another interesting comparison:

Go look at the career trajectory (first 2 years of playing time) of Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Tony Romo, Dak Prescott, and Derek Carr........and compare to Jalen Hurts.

What do those QB's all have in common?  They were not first round picks.

If you are not a first round pick and a slam dunk talent, you have to really flash to earn your spot...not suck for 2 years on a wishful Josh Allen trajectory.

Hurts has the very unique distinction of sucking ("developing") for 2 years as a low talent non-first round pick and still starting in year 3.

It’s racist against Asians. I felt going with "oriental” as I’m in the white racism region would have to make me re-seed  into the asian racism region or pure hate everyone region. So just went with Asian. If you are the committee head next year you can change it. Lol

He didn't suck for two years though.  He improved in his second year and became the youngest QB in franchise history to take this team to the playoffs, doing so in his first year as a starter.  

 

It's becoming more obvious that a lot of you are just scared of the possibility of Hurts continuing to improve and taking another step forward in year 3 because of your own personal grievances with the kid.  If it plays out and you are all right that he has hit his ceiling and he won't improve anymore then that will be that and the Eagles will get another QB in 2023.  They have moved a 1st to next year in preparation of that possibility.  But if he does take a big step forward then that has to be the best case scenario for the Eagles.  

 

The offense last year was so much more enjoyable to what we had to watch in 2020.  The general attitude towards Hurts in this blog makes it seem like the offense last year was actually worse than the 2020 offense. It's just excessive how belligerent some of you are to the reality that Hurts is going to get this season to show if he can make a substantial step forward in his 3rd season/2nd season as the starter.
