The end of an era fellas...

Eagles need to get them a QB ASAP.

NFC is up fer grabs.

But Howie says Hurts is good enough! You know, the guy that picked Reagor over Jefferson.

I will disagree with the bolded.  He put his face mask on Brady.  He didn't lead with the crown of his helmet.  The contact with Brady's shoulder happened first, then the crown of the helmet to the face mask.   It could have been called, it likely should have been called.  But Brady has gotten so used to getting extra protections that he lost his mind on that play.  A QB gets hits that shouldn't be called against him.  Barnett's penalty last week was a "Brady" call... that's what he expects.  He didn't get it and lost his cool.  It happens.  Brady needed to play the next down.

Watch the play again. After he leaps, he flexes his neck just enough to lower his helmet. He led with the helmet. Hitting the shoulder first doesn’t change the fact that he hit him in the face mask.

I'm absolutely fine with the no-call on the Brady hit. He hits him in the chest and Miller's helmet barely touches Brady's facemask. If they're going to call it, fine, but it's fine if they don't.

Careful, one of the Hurts white knights will be out to defend him.

"Hurts threw for more yards than Rodgers and scored more points than Brady. Eagles future lookin bright! He’s only 23! Younger than Pickett! Built different, no moment to big yada yada yada he’s only 23”

If Corral drops we should take a chance on him. Hurts isn't good enough to beat good teams like these.

Odd argument. So our defense is actually good, it's Hurts who is screwing them up.

Not only can he not throw, he can't even help make TJ Edwards good!

TOP 19-11.  Hard for Brady to score on the sidelines.  Your QB sustaining drives helps your defense.

Plus Brady has gotten more than his fair share of questionable calls in his career. F him.

I've watched it multiple times.  I disagree with your assessment.

Its easier for them to blame the defense instead of the guy keeping them on the field for 40 minutes.

Basically a rookie still... at least he's still on his rookie deal, so he's cheap!

He had them last year too when Luire gave the green light to trade for him.

Clearly they don't care or think they aren't serious enough.

Did he?  What we got was speculation because the Eagles, as they are wont to do, conducted extensive due diligence investigating Watson.  No one knows what the results of that investigation were or the results of the NFL’s investigation.  Heck, we don’t even know what was revealed in the interrogatories, mandatory disclosure under Texas rules of discovery, requests for production or the recently begun plaintiffs’ depositions. We also are blind to what HPD’s investigation revealed and what the DA is presenting to the Grand Jury. Yet you seem to know the results of the team’s investigation and their mindset.   What we have a strong hint of is that no team considered the Texans’ trade evaluation as realistic.  Bottom line is we don’t even know if the team will be interested at this point.

Barnetts play was still 100% a penalty, it was way late and the moron doesnt deserve the benefit of the doubt because hes a known dirty player

Nice catch OBJ.

OBJ making Baker look worse every week.

David down.

This was the report I was referencing, Simms said it was sourced, not speculation.

Bucs wk be the worst team in the NFC, in two years.  Mark my words.

It would be something if they lose Brady, Godwin, and Fournette this year. Back to the basement.

Rodgers played fine last night. Without MVS/Dillon/Tunyan, they doubled Adams after the 1st drive and made other guys beat him. They also played without their 2 best OL (Jenkins, Baktiahri).

Still, this shows the importance of teams. It's not just the QB.

You could see what happens on O when you don't spend high draft picks on skill players.  They were bereft of talent depth in the skill positions and the OL was not better.  The bad draft picks on D messed them over.  Rodgers was mediocre, but the Niners just didn't fear the Packers O.

It does show the FO what you can do with investment on the D side of the ball.

Great punt.

Sheesh.

If the Rams end up winning the SB, I bet DeSean would be kicking himself for asking out.  Still not sure why he left the Rams.

This weekend clearly supports the need to keep our picks and build a great defense.

Should be a piece of cake.

*Making himself look worse every week. 3 years without trying. Pathetic

3 and out.

Bucs receivers have not helped Brady.
