Who said anything about eagles scheme ? I was talking about my favorite prospects  34 , 43 had nothing to do with it .

As  to Barno tremendous athlete who can come off the edge in a 43  , or 34 olb  , I don’t think he will ne forced into anyone fit

The conversation around him began I believe with someone suggesting him as a mid-round Eagles target. Hence my, "no. do not want." stance.

Weird that in a very niche section of an EAGLES message board we'd be discussing how a guy fits on the EAGLES. Imagine that!

That would be something if Phillips was actually there at 162. He should actually be going, Oh... I dont know... about 100 picks earlier than that.

I agree he deserves to go before R5. However, not having written the algorithm myself, I'm gonna stick with their board. There are a lot of nice slot guys this year. Replace him with Bo Melton for example (who also gives return skills) and it's still a solid draft. I feel if we take Karlaftis in R1, we need to double dip. Thomas is a nice R3 target.

yeah it was a good draft.

I see Logan Hall as more of a DE here so I figured that was the double dip. Isaiah Thomas seems more 3-4 OLB to me. Figured that was your reddick backup.

Speaking of great running QB, saw on NFL Network last night about Vick when he was with the Falcons.  Vick might run more than he should, but he was really a great RB and could throw the football well either in the pocket or in the runs.  Don't think Hurts could ever reach that level though.

I'm a believer that if he had studied when he was younger instead of just relying on his physical abilities then he'd probably have multiple rings. He just didn't care until it was too late

To be honest though, we may like Phillips more than the pundits...cause of the racism. Most sites have him ranked around the 18th-25th WR.

Strong will be a much better QB than Hurts because one is a QB with one leg and the other is a RB with two legs.

Man thats too far since I wouldn't even call him a RB.

It's like you aren't even trying... just a casual racist.

That algorithm is racist

I don’t hate Dillard.  I think there’s potentially still something there.  But trade leverage is what it is.

He turns 27 this season and has never had steady playing time…and has durability concerns.  All with essentially one year left on his rookie deal.

That will fetch mid round value, at best.

27 isn't a big deal for a LT. A 4 year extension after picking up his option would take you to 32 years old.  He has 9 NFL starts, has starter talent and a lot of upside.

There are 3 LTs who should start right away, that leaves a half dozen teams or so looking for an upgrade at LT.

Dillard has an option year that's about the cost of an average starting LT. Average in those two seasons and he's well below average cost for a LT.

Once the 3 LTs go off the table, look for teams to start calling Howie on the 2nd day - b/c if they need a LT, they aren't going to want to plug a 2nd or 3rd rd project in that spot. Especially if they have a young QB they don't want to ruin. So I figure Dillard will garner something equivalent to a late 3rd/4th rd pick.

The other problem is they haven't updated their draft board in months. I feel like they just stopped caring about it.

Im sure the NFL people see it. The draft sites dont seem familiar with the player.

that would make some sense too.

I'd rather they trade him for a conditional pick for 2023 than a pick for this draft.  Maybe they can get more for him that way.   Maybe a 4 in 2023, up to a 3 if he starts 8 games for them, up to a 2 if he starts 15 games, and for kicks... make it a 1 if he's a Pro Bowler.

To be fair, I took Travis Jones from Connecticut but just so when someone accuses me of being racist/schoolist I can say "Can't be me, I drafted a guy from Connecticut."

Classic gambit.  I award you 30 points for that move.

Anyone know anything about Blaise Andries?  I haven't checked out to many OG's but from what I've seen so far I like Parham, Cole Strange, Chris Paul, this guy, and Logan Bruss

We don't worry about him.  He's a Bucs fan that hangs around here for no good reason.
