Didn't think of that. So we either lose to the Bucs, or we lose to the Bucs. Great choices.

If every team in the NFC tied all their games the Eagles would have been the #1 seed

Do not want deebo

especially not at a premium price

True.

Any realistic takes on where he could end up? I'm guessing KC if u look at the scheme fit, while i do believe Hill's trade was a $ and character issue i can see them on board with paying deebo. Offense would be more lethal than before imo.

Deebo>DK. He’s so damn good. He can legit be a dude who gets 1600 yards receiving and 700 yards rushing in this league per year. Ultimate weapon. If they want WR and Williams is gone, I’d much rather have Deebo than Fing Chris Olave.

You must impress easily. I’ve said it many times, neither 7th seed had any business being there. They were only there because the league wanted the revenue from an extra playoff game. The very definition of fools gold. Again, what reason do we have to have confidence in those in charge of this rebuild?

Now here’s where you strawman me with a boycott claim…

Because they won a Super Bowl the last time they did a rebuild.  Because it's the NFL and teams can turn into contenders relatively quickly.  Because they have some good foundational pieces on offense and now they have a defense loaded draft with multiple 1st round picks and three picks on day two of the draft.  It's the perfect situation to be in when needing to rebuild the defense to go along with the young offense.

First he would not put up any productive numbers with Hurts and second he is going to demand an extreme salary.

At the ongoing WR trend, he could be asking for QB type money… there is no chance

Speaking of the WR trend. Have to figure the Eagles will have to get a QB this year or next year.  You can’t justify paying Devonta or any other good WR top $$ if you can not get them the ball.

He’s the best non QB offensive weapon in the NFL. He would be productive here. He was with Jimmy G who sucks. I’m not a Hurts guy at all, but people have gone way overboard with the "this player wouldn’t do anything here because of Hurts.” Hurts is an average at best QB. People here act like you have the janitor playing QB. Smith put up franchise rookie record receiving yards with Hurts. Samuel would be great here and worth every penny he gets.

what good is saving money on talent if the guys you get instead aren’t nearly as good? No WR in this class is close to as good as Deebo.

Pay him. Pay him now

I highly doubt that Deebo will be as effective anywhere else than he is in Kyle Shanahan's offense.  Those two are a perfect match for each other.  He's a great player but I don't see us or anyone else using him as well as Shanahan does.

I can almost guarantee his production will never reach salary value with the upward trend of WR salaries… WR production is too dependent on other factors.. scheme, team, OL, QB etc… you are talking double the production of Davonte… not gonna happen

Jets and they will ruin his career

Eagles apparently are avoiding Mexico City this year. Fred Warner said they are playing there so it’s 49ers vs Cardinals.

Deebo Samuel production in 2022 if the Eagles trade for him.

I’ll put it at 1,350+ yards receiving. 400+ yards rushing. And maybe even some return duties.

Not with the hurts throwing at him

You have downgraded your projection based on playing for the Eagles. The production will still not be worth 20-25 million per year which he is being priced into. Paying middle tier WRs upwards of 20 million have really put a pinch on the top tier guys.

Effective but not as. These guys leaving elite situations for money are all going to take a step back, obviously.  Some will get cut for it down the road which may be part of the plan.

Yes he would. Deebo is amazing YAC. Get him the ball anywhere and he will make something out of it. Wouldn’t need accurate throws 30 yards down field for him to be effective.

That production is worth the money. And it’s not just production it’s the amount of attention a defense pays to him to open up things for other guys. That is a factor too. Deebo is very very special. I think he’s generational.

Agree to disagree.. he is a good player. What team can reasonably afford a 25 million dollar WR with 30 million dollar QB…
