That’s the concern, and makes sense why there has been little buzz with him. He might be a little crazy.

This explains why Lance said he was not a 1st rounder.

I'm not sure there is a 'might' involved here, I think the question with him is the degree of crazy.

One foot out the door, and the other on a banana peel.

So he's going from a relatively poor receiving/good blocking WR to a relatively poor blocking/good receiving TE?

He’s going to be moving from rostered to FA

. What would make you say that?

For the record... JJAW now becomes the SECOND WR drafted by this team in the SECOND ROUND to transition to TE before being shown the exit out of the NFL.

This team sucks at identifying WRs in the draft.

Looks like sixers owner Josh Harris has moved onto the next phase of bidding for the broncos  , also owns the Devils

he just don’t have enough money if a bidding war breaks out , heir to Walmart also bidding

Great news that theyve finally committed to the idea that hes not working as a WR. Thats good.

In a really nice TE draft, I hope they draft one and they dont let him stick around sucking at a different position.

No kidding.  Three years gone already.  Just see if a TE like Jeremy Ruckert is still on the board at #124 or later and they’d be way further ahead.  If they wanted to develop a TE project Woods is a better option as well

Jordan Matthews was at least good before he had knee issues.

I am assuming this is a Title IX procedure and I don't know anything about the rules for these proceedings and who gets to select the neutral or whether they just employees of the university.

Are they lawyers?  I think rules for who can qualify as an arbitrator vary from state to state.  Typically there is some sort of training program but not necessarily a formal certification.  I don't think states have adopted formal ethical rules for arbitrators. So the rules that govern their behavior are the rules that govern the profession.  Disclosing a friendship isn't required.   I don't think the friendship with diversity officer is a conflict. Typically a conflict would arise if the judge had materially participated representing the University in the same matter.   If he or she previously was counsel for the university during the time this claim was being pursued that may be a disclosure that he/she should have made.

I am unclear as to how the bias of the diversity officer impacts the evidence of misconduct by your colleague?

:offtopic:

Thanks to all who weighed in on my question regarding legal ethics. This episode has been transformative for me, and not in a good way. I am disillusioned and I no longer have any loyalty to the institution. The diversity officer, according to Title IX, is supposed act as an independent investigator and is obliged by law to treat the plaintiffs and defendants equally. The diversity officer lied to us, made prejudicial statements to the witnesses, and withheld information and resources.

Oh well, this will all come out in the forthcoming lawsuit.

Sounds like you've had an interesting couple days.  Sorry.

This crap has been going on for about a year and a half!

My colleague was fired after twenty years of service to the university.

😬  More than a couple days.   More sincere apologies.

I still can’t get over the rainbow Minshew threw to him in the end zone and JJAW watched the ball go through his hands w/o touching either one, to the grass. It was embarrassing, his confidence along with Reagor’s is gone, they both need to move on…, so did/does Barnett.

Never thought I would be envious of the skill positions on the Dolphins.

RB- Raheem Mostert, Chase Edmunds, Myles Gaskin

WR- Tyreek Hill, Cedric Wilson, Jaylen Waddle...wild card, Lynn Bowden Jr.

TE- Mike Gesicki

If Tua is even an average QB, that offense should be a lot of fun to watch.  If he bombs, Teddy Bridgewater could be productive with those targets to throw to.

Just saw they have Daeshon Hall too.  Guy is hanging around and only 26.  Always thought he had more talent then a lot of the players the Eagles kept over him.  Would like to see him have success.

It takes a special kind of incompetence to do that.  Not sure why people don't appreciate that about him.

Yeah... it's a confidence issue at this point. If you watch his college footage... he didn't get open, but he could make those tough, contested catches. I think it's all in his head now. Hard to fix that.

Watch JJAW become a good tight end. I’m rooting for him now that he’s not a WR.
