pretty solid. Not familiar with armor-davis. Not sure I care for a double up on CB that early. Ill take the rest.

Dont know anything about Butler either though.

I would be curious to know who scouts the WRs or if there has been any turnover there. Where does Howie get his info to make some of the most boneheaded decisions at WR?

Does your colleague have the right to litigate?  If this was binding arbitration, the grounds for suit are very limited.

As far as I know the suit has two components. The first is denial of due process. Apparently, the university violated some of their own policies in addition to violating Title IX rules.  The second is that the university's policy is unconstitutional because it is overly vague. Almost the exact same language was determined to be unconstitutional in a suit against another university.

Did he edit that out or did you throw that in?

Armor-Davis is good.  I think he goes  between 75-100.  Could go a little earlier.

That’s triple corner, back-to-back-to-back. with Slay under contract for a few more years yet, that’s a little extreme.

In the PC a day or 2 ago it almost sounds like the scouts literally just scout. And the coaches then go over things and determine who they like for the specific scheme.

Now most here will say that is Howie insulating himself and passing blame.

In reality, we dont know how common that kind of system is in the NFL. Maybe it is unique to here, and sucks. Or maybe its the norm and we have just had a lot of really dumb WR coaches (that is sort of a known).

Hill's a safety.

nah. Daxton Hill would be a safety here.

I think we have so many developmental CBs, we will likely just draft 1, early to hopefully start this year and take over for Slay when he is gone. The other bunch of guys have a chance to develop in to a solid CB2 for us.

I can see us potentially taking a 2nd CB if there is value somewhere late in the draft (Is Castro-Fields really going to be available in round 6 like the TDN mock similator always seems to show?). But I otherwise feel the team will give guys like Tay Gowan, and especially McPhearson a chance to prove themselves.

Sounds about right. I'd think blind luck would hit more often than the eagles have.

And in other news, Eagles have released long time water boy Bub McFootball to clear a spot for another WR reassignment...

Doesn't matter how unique it is here or not... it sucks here.

yeah if the WR coaches have been bad, and poor at identifying who best fits their system its not going to work. We have been through a lot of WR coaches in the past 5 years or so, who we know stunk.

It would be nice if our scouts were capable, and allowed to scout specifically for our system. But listening to Howie Im not sure that happens.

Of course he's a slot receiver. He's arguably the best one in the draft. 5'11" 190 is above average size for a slot guy. He's also a nice punt returner, another role we lack skill at. Your hot takes are more hot turds.

Here's a list of guys I like     ,  but I'll put this comma in a weird place and not give    an explanation:

groh, Moorehead. that guy from North Carolina that was here for 1 year seemed solid I thought but then we signed the next guy from North Carolina who also sucked.... its been a revolving door of mostly terrible.

Nah, they can't Al be bad.

Hey fellas, any truth to the Deebo rumors to the birds?

We can make the cap space.  Deebo is likely a top 3 WR (and a top 10 RB if need be).

What’s a player of his caliber worth to the Eagles?

When is the last time they drafted a decent starting WR and if Jordan Matthews counts then who made the damn pick or was the main reason. I hate Chip but dude had a decent scouting crew.

Honest question.  1st and a 2nd for Deebo.

Do you pull the trigger?  No need to worry about drafting a WR for the next 5+ years.
