No. It’s not appealing when Christian Kirk just got $18M and isn’t half the WR Deebo is. Why would he settle to not get near what actually great WRs just got? He’s not pawning off a ring to pay the rent. He and his agent know their worth and will get it.

Only 1 problem, need a QB to get him enough targets.  He had 40 more targets than our #1 receiver last year.  And say what you want about Jimmy G, he was putting the ball on Deebo in stride in the middle of the field.  Hurts will not throw into Deebo’s best area to operate.

It was 2 years, $11M, $7M guaranteed. So $5.5 APY for Foles.

And this was a year after they signed Chase Daniel to a 3 year $21M deal with $12M guaranteed. So yes.

Yes, I would rather sacrifice a 1st and 2nd round pick for a top 3-5 proven talent at WR - who plays the game tough as nails - than picking random 1st and 2nd round picks who have less than a 50% chance of being in the league after 5 years.

And yes, a top 5 player is worth 18-20 mil per year.

Jalen Hurts has been a question mark.  And that’s ok too.  Hurts hasn’t shown enough for a lot of fans.  He’s been inconsistent, he’s missed plays, etc.

But the one thing I’ve noticed and most fans have noticed - the guy has the heart of a lion - and he continues to improve.  He does nothing but work to improve his game.

there’s more than one way to build a team. Going all in for a flashy skill player when the QB is a question and the defense has barely any future building blocks doesn’t make me "a pessimist” but carry on. Please speak for an entire fan base.

You get a guy like Deebo at WR - with Devonte Smith on the other side - Sanders/Comittee - Hurts at QB

That’s a pounding - blasting offense - defense killing offense.
