While I appreciate you speaking Canadian to me, you're still wrong.

Absolutely

Health is the only concern for him I'd say. He certainly has the ability to easily crush 1000 yards, if he can stay on the field.

That's where I differ. Between his health concerns, the tape being out on him, and him only wanting to be a WR, I think it'll be a lot harder than most think

Just as a pure wr, he's top 5-6 in the league imo

How does one get "Deebo" out of Tayshaun Rayquan???

You've obviously never seen Friday. Go watch it.

Tyreek Hill just received a $30M per year contract.  Davante Adams $28M per year.  Stefon Diggs' new contract is already almost obsolete at $24M per year.

The Eagles cannot give up a 1st round pick + in order to bring in a WR and pay them $25-30M per year, minimum.  Especially a WR still under contract who has demanded a trade and says he's having to get the ball "too much" -- a la LeVeon Bell.

Really sad fact.  The Eagles have to do a better job of drafting and developing WR talent.  None of the above-mentioned rich players were even first round picks.  Adams was #53 overall, Diggs was #146 and Hill was #165.  Gotta draft and develop your own for peanuts, instead of paying a mortgage on guys who force their way out.

Seen it been a minute though, guess I'll need a refresher.

Having said that Deebo last year broke Jerry rice 49ers record of most receiving yards in the first 7 games, which is pretty good company to be in.

Id reckon he's good enough to be a top WR minus the RB touches.

Deebo is the neighbourhood bully in that movie, played by Tony Lister Jr, aka Zeus. I think Deebo's dad gave him the nickname because he was a bully on the field.

I get not wanting to trade for him given the state of the team, but arguing that Deebo isn't that good is just silly.

Will Deebo get knocked the F out, is the question then?

Looking forward to next week when the UK fixtures are announced.

PLEASE BE THE EAGLES

Need to do what the Steelers do with WRs, draft a bunch of mid-round guys, develop them, then let them walk.

The one thing not to do - get enamored with size/speed with WRs, the top guys are often quicker than fast, plus route runners with sticky hands and body control. And you can steal those guy if you do your homework.

Doesn't seem like eagles have any idea when it comes to WR in the later rounds or early rounds

Just tossing darts and crossing fingers

Not sure if this has been posted, but ESPN ranks Eagles as the sixth-best drafting team since 2012.

NFL draft -- Which teams have gotten the best value since 2012? We rank all 32 (espn.com)

Getting a lot of credit for Jordan Poyer sort of distorts the impact to THIS team.

Also think the negative impact from Reagor hasn't fully matured in this model.  Same for Mailata on the other side, though.

You got me. Can’t believe I spent more than two posts on that nonsense.

I think we're generally okay at drafting but we just suck at certain positions which really skews our perception since we keep missing big on them. WR and DB have been our kryptonite.

Eagles dont play anyone that’s playing in Europe

I believe it. The problem is, on average the Eagles draft pretty good for ok to good guys. BG had a good...not great career

Miles Sanders will have an ok, good, not great career

Goedert, Agholar, Jalen Mills, Vtitai, Seumalo, Douglas, I can go on and on at how good we are at picking average, but lentghy careers

Finding those types of guys is a bigger deal than I think most fans give credit for.  Especially in the mid-late rounds. Gives your team a high floor and keeps salaries reasonable so you have flexibility for free agency signings.

But overall you can't take the next step without nailing a few high end stud players in the process too, which has been our problem. Too many early round disappointments.

Also according to this Cowboys are 4th best.

Also says eagles best draft was 2012, Cox, Kendricks, Curry, Foles.

That was Reids last draft with the eagles.

I don't buy it, but we have been really good at finding OLinemen which is pretty damn important. Credit to Stout there.

Me either.  We are getting credit for guys who had success after they left.
