Credit for drafting Jordan Poyer?   Nah, if you can't figure out that he should stay and play... that's a failure, not an asset.  He didn't do a thing to help this team.   These types of rankings are usually skewed.  It needs to focus on what the value to the team that drafted them, not across the league.  What good was drafting Raheem Brock?  0.

What value was bringing in Villaneuva, only to cut him and then having him go to Pittsburgh and developing into a pretty nice LT?   0.

And Josh Sweat is the best Day 3 Steal?  Nah.  That's clearly Mailata.  Not even a debate about it.

Yup, said ravens best day 3 pick was Darren Waller.

He had a total of 12 receptions with the ravens before blowing up with the raiders

If anything it should be an indictment on draft failure to draft a guy like waller and let him leave and blow up elsewhere.

Same with poyer.

We don’t need Deebo we have Reagor already

Howie will try to convert Reagor to tight end next year.

Is there someone at 6 any of you guys would be willing to trade up for? I can see the Panthers willing to trade down since they have virtually no picks this year but I'm not sure if there's anyone I'd be willing to spend that much draft capital on.

I don't see any reason to trade up to 6, eagles need players, not a player.

They have a lot of holes to fill.

I dont want neither.

But I'd take London.

I dont want to pay Deebo. I dont want to lose a 3rd, Deebo won't fit this offense this year, or next year.

In fact, I'll go hot take. I think Deebo is a fragile gimmick player and he knows this, which is why he's trying to cash in.

Deebo as a "pure wr" (which is what he wants) he's basically JAG.

Deebo had injuries sure but last year he was anything but fragile. Actually played RB at a high level, no other receiver did that. That said I don't think we are in a position to trade for him. Too expensive in two ways. Blame the front office for their terrible drafting and team building the last few years

Sauce, Wilson, Walker for me at 6. Davis & Johnson around 10-12

Same as trading picks for a player, unless it’s someone they feel can be a franchise QB. Right now they are a Slay hamstring injury away from having the league worst DB’s, they have one LB that can cover, Cox, and Graham are a year away from probably being finished, Lane is a FA after next year?   Kelce possible retirement, plus a Smith injury away again, from having the worst WR group in the NFL.
They need a lot of players who will be here for at least the next 3 years.

26 picks from 2016-19, but only 9 in the top 100 (out of a normal 12).  Wentz, a couple other deals to "win now."

So all things done by Howie Roseman.

And you can offset the 9 out of 12 in the top 100 with 7 in the top 64 when the should have been 8.  Only missing 1 when you made a massive trade up for a QB is not bad.

The problem with those picks is you have good

Sanders, Goedert,

Then you have the bad

Dillard ( first round pick who was traded up for and his depth only )

JJAWful ( bust and others drafted behind him are doing well in the NFL )

Barnett ( not near worthy of the 14th pick, so bad he could not get a free agent deal from another team )

Sidney Jones ( bust )

Wentz ( huge draft capital and no longer with the team )

You can do all the mental gymnastics you want, the only constant in the Eagles problems is Howie Roseman.

Yup this team is old without many young guys that are any good.

One of the best Flyers moments I can remember.  Can't imagine how great it will feel if they ever win a cup.

Sauce is probably the one I could tolerate the most if they did it. Not a very deep CB class in terms of being pro ready and there's a decently large gap between him the next tier. With it being a deep DE draft, probably a move up to 10 would be my limit if one fell. If we traded up to 6 for Wilson I'd probably cry (not happy tears).

Probably gonna play in TO's league next season.

I'll circle back when Deebo gets hurt, or when he holds out cause he's not being used correctly and we'll see where he ranks

I like Burks. He has that physical RAC skills Deebo has. Not saying he's as good, but I like him. Can play inside and outside, nice compliment to Smith. Love Wilson but he's a trade up option only.

Yep. I saw that a few weeks ago and that's why I'm out on London. Also - watching his "highlights" on youtube. Never seems to be open. And these are the highlights!

No offense but you still tell me that Odell Beckham Jr is a top 10 wide receiver and he hasn’t been in nearly 5 years. In the last three years, obj has played 37 out of 49 games. And once again injured his acl. The same amount as as Deebo Samuel has. And in the last 3 years OBJ hasn’t come close to one season that Samuel just had at wide receiver last year. Please don’t give me  baker Mayfield because  Samuel has to play with Jimmy G who does not stay healthy. He had to play multiple  games for Trey Lance this year or nick mullens  and in 2020 Jimmy G missed most of the season.

Let me take it a step further Samuel last year statistically would be Odell Beckham Jr. second best year of his career in receiving yards and it’s only by 45 yards (on 37 less targets then Odell’s 1450 yard season and 19 catches less). Also Debo’s yards per reception of 18.2 dwarfs OBJ’s best year at 15.1. Also the 14 total tds Samuel had is more than any td total OBJ has had in any one season.

I'd trade up for Sauce but I don't think I would trade 15 and 18. He'd have to drop to around 10ish which isn't likely.

Regardless of the fit with the Eagles, Deebo is a far superior player to OBJ.

It takes a special kind of incompetence to do that.  Not sure why people don't appreciate that about him.

Here’s the newest Eagles TE, btw, this attempt can’t be pulled off easily, you have to practice to be this bad.
nt

Compare that to one of Lloyds interceptions last season.

Sauce is my dream pick. Don't see any way it happens, as he may easily go at 4 to Saleh and the Jets.

My issue is he can’t keep telling me every year OBJ is a top 10 wide receiver when he hasn’t been a top 10 wide receiver since 2016. But then Deebo Samuels puts up statistics like Odell Beckham Jr. did five years ago but then tell me he’s not good. Add on obj has missed as much time as Deebo over the last 3 years yet he doesn’t hold that against him.

Deebo is an ultra physical player who's already 26 and struggled with injuries. Keep using him at RB, you sap his likely already reduced shelf life. And he wants $25+ million a year. In what world does it make sense to give up all that draft capital and money to acquire a player who might not even be good in 3 years when you currently have no clear answer at QB?

And if OBJ played a full year with the Rams he probably would have been...or close stats wise.

If you take OBJ stats with the Rams and calculate to 17 games, 66 catches for 740 yards.

Deebo had 77 for 1400 in 16 games.

There is no comparison.
