So you think Deebo is going to play 60 of his next 80 games... LOL ok

So talk about moving the goal post. Where did I say that? Oh wait I didn’t. the stats are what they are  obj is injury prone outside of 2015 and 2016 seasons and it’s likely deebo is too.

I never said Deebo Samuel was the epitome of healthy. Frankly I think because of how physical he plays the game kind of like gronk he’s always gonna have durability concerns.

that said your argument  using injury prone against deebo but when we use it against OBJ you had none of it is frankly ridiculous and laughable

Unrealistic and no chance Brisker is there at 51, but this is my final mock before next week.

Back to back safeties...no bueno. Love Winfrey, the Robinson's and Jones. Meh on Jalyn (we have enough of them), Luketa and Latu.

Yeah, I didn't expect Brisker to be there at 51 but I wasn't going to pass it up. They're such different players too that it could make sense.

Does anyone know if deebo got hurt playing rb or wr

Here's how my mind works so we can leave it...

OBJ was healthy in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021.  You can argue pretty healthy in 2014 and 2018 too.

Deebo was healthy in 2021.

Deebo was healthy in 2019. He missed one game in 2019. He played 15 of 16 games

I don’t give a flying F what Odell Beckham Jr. did in college in terms of health.

In the NFL, 50% of OBJ’s career he’s missed four or more games in a season. Thats a quarter of the season missed almost every other year. That’s not staying healthy.

He’s missed 3 or more games in 5 of 8 nfl seasons. That’s not staying healthy

He’s played in 74.4% of his games meaning he on average misses a quarter of the nfl season in his career.

you can make up any BS excuses you want with college but in the NFL Obj ( definitely the last five years) has been injury prone

A little quick to make this proclamation, no?

Pretty sure the current group is always the best group according to afan...

Normally I wouldn't care about college, unless your injured all the time in college. Like Deebo

I don’t give a flying F about deebo right now. i’m not saying he’s not injury prone. That was never my argument to you.

What I am telling you is Odell Beckham Jr. is injury prone at the NFL level. It has been show to you. in 8 seasons he’s missed 4 or more games 50% of the time. He has missed 3 or more games 63% of the time. and likely he could miss a chunk of next year so those numbers could increase.

But when we brought up the argument that he wasn’t top 10 anymore due to durability concerns and missing games that was denied by you. So it’s rich you using that same argument against deebo now

They were talking about this on WIP yesterday. Said the best contested pass catching receivers in college over the past 5 years were Whiteside, Reagor and London.

HELL NO

A contested catch receiver in college is a guy who can't separate in the NFL.

One of the best Flyers moments I can remember.  Can't imagine how great it will feel if they ever win a cup.

The best first shift by a Flyers center that I can remember ever.  Would be hard to top that.

Deebo > any eagles rb/wr>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>obj

If you take OBJ stats with the Rams and calculate to 17 games, 66 catches for 740 yards.

Deebo had 77 for 1400 in 16 games.

There is no comparison.

Math is hard.

Brisker isn't in Jeremiah's top 50.  He has Cine as 46th.  Brugler has Brisker at 42 and the number 5 safety.  He's also has some health concerns because of a shoulder injury.   I think there's a good chance Brisker is there at the end of the 2nd.

Not sure how realistic it is with Brisker/Smith dropping but at the same time no one seems to really gave a grasp on the draft so anything could happen.

I love the aggression (minus the punches thrown). Is this concerning to anyone?

Yes.  He's got some issues, which is why he's not in the Round 1 discussion.

Not if winning is your goal - when you build a team, once the draft is over it doesn't matter where the player was picked, only how he plays.

So missing on 1st rd pick but hitting later in the draft doesn't matter, only how often you hit.

It matters who you passed on to draft your bust... because... the Eagles aren't exactly a 'winning' team, they are mediocre if you go by winning pct.  Maybe if they whiffed less frequently on Day 1 and 2 they'd be a few more games over 0.500.

Why do you think that is?

It has become harder and harder for the league to find a traditional stand in the pocket, go through your progression and read a defense type of QB. These colleges only have these kids for a couple of years, so they gear their offense towards what they bring to the table, and they emphasize those skills. They don't break them down and teach them the nuances of playing the position. They want to win and win now.

Same thing the Eagles are doing with Hurts... and it won't end well.

Must be all the extra OTA's these teams are having that age their players.  Eagles are smart to not have them!

Still leaning towards Muma. I'd rather have someone that projects at MLB with good coverage skills.

Isn't he working out at 3DQB working specifically on his feet placement, mechanics and accuracy issues? That they moved away from his old trainer and went to one that helped a portion of the league's QBs get better.

Idk much about Harris but I thought I read he was good in coverage.
