We had frost earlier this week, rain on Wednesday and mid 80s today… hoping to find some more this weekend…

Where are you? Sounds exactly like the weather we've had lately...St. Louis metro area but on the IL side of the river.

Stay off my land

Got plenty of acres of our own to explore.

That and the nearby mountains that are NC Game and Wildlife areas.

Used to be. I buy the dried morels now. In risottos they are sublime.

I used to order dried ones when I lived in Vegas. Would let them soak in a light salt water mix and saute with a little butter. Mom and Dad do a light coat of flour and pan fry them.

I'll have to try with a risotto but my risotto always comes out clumpy...

Pretty good QB video. Rankings are pretty close to my own. Except I definitely do not like Willis as QB1 in this draft.

But Ridder, Strong, and Pickett are next. Theyre the best 3 to me as well.

Good eye. Probably shouldn’t have given him the benefit of a doubt

Interesting chart in that QB video at 26:18

I've seen a few mocks that have Zappe to the Eagles. I wonder how crappy the defenses were that Zappe was playing against. 'Course he probably didn't have Dak's receiving corps either.

He’s pretty small which is my main concern aside from his level of competition. Wouldn’t mind him for a late round backup.

So talented, but a head case.

We’ll trade,Jalen Reagor for Toney and one of their firsts.

Good snip.

For anyone who didn't watch the video or pay attention to the header the chart posts stats on non-RPO throws.  It's a glimpse at who ran more complex NFL stuff, and how well they did with those throws.

Howell, Corral, and Eleby did next to nothing other than RPO. Corral and Eleby have pretty identical stats and are separated by about 5 rounds.

Carson is strong.

If a player has his own face tattooed to his body, he’s got some issues. Plus rapping about "Codeine Dreamin’” on the buildup before his draft is probably a bit of a red flag.

You could have told me that was Side Show Bob’s face and I would have believed you.

Western Kentucky was a highly schemed Air Raid offense.  Since the Air Raid is based off the West Coast they just basically removed the running plays, and they only use 4-5 different formations per game with 4 receivers that can run routes and catch the ball.
 Bailey Zappe=Taylor Heinicke.

True, but Corral was in the SEC and has a much better arm than Eleby.

I also think that Philly is one ideal landing spot for an RPO  QB like Corral because we are still RPO heavy.  But according to Kollman in the video,  RPO worked when we won a Superbowl in 2017 and defenses have adjusted and being an RPO offense in the NFL today is no longer possible.

Despite being his ideal landing spot,  he is not necessarily our ideal QB. Give me someone with more relevant NFL experience.

I agree 100%.
Mahomes basically ran the same offense at TT and developed some bad habits, enough so that some teams had him as a 2nd round pick. It’s the main reason Andy sat him for most of his rookie season.   KC even used a bunch of RPO plays for Mahomes but Mahomes has two things going for him, his cannon of an arm and he’s super smart, like learned Bill Walsh’s West Coast playbook in the matter of days smart.
Guys like him don’t come around often and it’s a stretch to think Corral will be nearly as successful.
As you said, give me the guys that are going through progressions at the college level, it puts them ahead of the curve. I’d love a QB that can do that, and read a defense, behind one of the best O-lines in football.
Trevor Lawrence at Clemson was using a heavy RPO, spread offense, but as he found out, the hash marks in the NFL and the speed of defenses, make that style of offense a really tough transition.

Have to agree with Zach Berman here. He said in the recent BwF if there was something the Eagles could do that would bother him on draft day(or something like that, I forget the exact question) and he said he hopes in the press conference after the draft or after the first round that Howie doesn’t say "we got guys who fit how we are trying to play.”

Couldn't agree more. Take the most talented guys.
