I'd be really bummed to see Deebo go to the Jets. When was the last time a skill position player went to the Jets and didn't bottom out?

I don’t think Deebo gets traded; he and Shanahan will come to some sort of agreement on his usage.  They’ll give him an extension near top of market.

Foles was another victim of Chip Kelly’s ineptitude.  It wasn’t resolved yet whether he could be the Eagles franchise QB.  Even when he came down from the 27 TD/ 2 INT season in 2013 to an up-and-down 2014, the team was still winning when he was in there. He had some injury concerns, but Kelly trading him for Bradford never made any sense — just like most of Chip’s moves as a GM.

Not to mention that we overpaid for Bradford. Having to add a 2nd on top was ridiculous.

Yup it is different yet still mobility.

Mobility to me is ability to avoid the pass rush.

As said Marino could do that without running in circles in a clean pocket, until the Injury which hampered his ability to effectively make those subtle movements.

Running in circles in the pocket isn't mobility, it's panic.

So is it consensus at all for Eagles fans to believe Foles could've been an above average starter given the right circumstances and less injuries? Or was it more consistency.

Foles has as many super bowl MVPs as Aaron Rodgers so I'd say it worked out just fine.

Except for all the draft capital spent at QB since he was drafted, the current continuing search, etc.

Eagles got lucky and everything fell perfectly for them in 2017, Foles leading the offense was not the design they had in mind, and they had already mooved on from Foles once before hand, so Foles wasn't the same guy as they drafted... it would the same as if they had just signed a free agent like Kirk Cousins.

No way Daxton Hill still on the board. Ill be glad when draft day gets here to finally see when some of these DBs are picked. I actually see Hamilton slipping to day 2.

I just don't think he ever given a fair shake. He was underappreciated, I think. With Wentz it's really not his fault considering how much we had invested in after picking him up at 2 and his performance in 2017. It was unlikely Foles was going to take the starting position from him.

I think it really should've been given a harder look after the 2018 season where the team was dead in the water until Foles came in after Wentz got injured again. With hindsight it's obvious but even then it was a legitimate question that people were discussing.

Edit: That said, we probably don't win a SB if the whole timeline of events don't happen so it's hard to complain.

Would be surprised if Hill went earlier, but safeties tend to drop more than expected. That being said if be shocked if Hill went before Hamilton.

Yes as I was referring to hurts as captain panic.

Except cousins was a lot more expensive.

I'll never understand why NFL franchises keep doling out big money on 2nd and 3rd contracts for stiffs like cousins and Bradford.

Wentz is approaching said territory as well if not already there.

Apparently, I'm blind to Hamilton projections, teams are going to value CB/S hydrids if they have any sense. Hamiltons game doesn't translate but we will see. No one is selling me on him...

Hamilton's tape speaks for it self. He's the fastest guy to the ball on the field every game I've seen if him.

In college he played all over, he lined up deep in single high or cover two, lined up in the box in base sets or as a dime LB lined up in the slot as a blitzer or covered receivers, TEs, RBs, blitzed through the A gap.

I think he's a top ten talent.

He'll most likely fall out of top ten because he's a safety and the league values other positions over safety.

If he's there at either of eagles first round picks I'd have to take a long look at drafting him depending on who else is on the board

If he somehow fell out of the 1st round Id imagine more than a few teams would be interested in drafting him there.

We'll see ,I like him a lot as a prospect but i understand the hesitation of using a high pick on him.

It was just a name for a free agent, as opposed to a draft pick, plug in Bridgewater if you prefer, the point is, Foles' ultimate success here came as a free agent, not a draft choice.

No mobility here (3:35).

Exactly why i want Carson Strong. While Hurts is panicking & spinning around in a clean pocket, DeVonta is wide open in the endzone. Stuff like this happened all season. Sirianni doesnt get nearly enough credit for scheming our WR's open last year because Hurts constantly missed them. Strong makes that throw in his sleep.

Teddy two gloves is a pretty cool nickname but not quite as cool as BDN😁

I assume you mean the play at 3:45, not 3:35.   3:45 is an example of panic.  He started running around for no reason.

It’s tough to find average QB’s that can keep you in games, much less good ones that can win you games.
Going back though, guys like Kerry Collins. Carson Palmer, and Jake Delhomme probably wouldn’t even make a team today.

No, things were breaking down in the pocket and he needed to buy time for someone to get open down the field for the first down on a very crucial drive.

I'm liking Mays later on and moving him to C. Same with Salyer.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at here in reference to the conversation🤔

There was NO RUSH!  He ran around for no reason.  🤦‍♂️

How many QBs make that exact play, without the pirouette?  This being used as an example of 'good' QB play is why I can't take most of these people seriously.  See above with RTK.

You are watching a different video than me then.

Yes i have no choice but to respect his talent and college tape but the bolded I can't see in the NFL.
