I assume you mean the play at 3:45, not 3:35.   3:45 is an example of panic.  He started running around for no reason.

3:45 makes more sense, 3:35 was a screen pass and I was like🤷‍♂️

How many QBs make that exact play, without the pirouette?  This being used as an example of 'good' QB play is why I can't take most of these people seriously.  See above with RTK.

You are watching a different video than me then.

Well you're part of the crowd here that is so far off the reservation of being capable of being reasonable and are only able to think along the hyperbolic lines of this echo chamber.

It’s tough to find average QB’s that can keep you in games, much less good ones that can win you games.
Going back though, guys like Kerry Collins. Carson Palmer, and Jake Delhomme probably wouldn’t even make a team today.

Sheesh man i think in his prime the guy could play today.

This is BAD QB play.  I paused it the moment his back foot hit the top of his drop... and look at him.  No one anywhere near him, no free rusher, nothing to run from... but he's ducked down, looking at the rush and panics.

A good QB on a play like this keeps his eyes down the field, stands tall in the pocket and finds the open receiver.  Hurts made this play harder than it was.  This is BAD.  Very bad.  And this is the end of the season when we've been told how much he improved from the beginning of the year.   This is bad for a HS QB.

The OP was being sarcastic. He was making fun of the Hurts stans on twitter that praise him for making basic and even bad plays.

So, Peterson is saying it’s Hurts to the Titans then.  I could get on board with that

Nope.  I have eyes.  See above.  That is a BAD play and he reverts to his legs rather than his eyes, mind and arm... because he doesn't trust them.

Yes i have no choice but to respect his talent and college tape but the bolded I can't see in the NFL.

That's fair.

And I'm sure NFL has same worries.

Having said that no one in the NFL can cover receivers and TEs anymore, the rules don't allow it☹️

Good.

Exactly why i want Carson Strong. While Hurts is panicking & spinning around in a clean pocket, DeVonta is wide open in the endzone. Stuff like this happened all season. Sirianni doesnt get nearly enough credit for scheming our WR's open last year because Hurts constantly missed them. Strong makes that throw in his sleep.

So RTK real name is Kev?

Who in their right mind would use video of hurts needlessly doing circles in a clean pocket as an example of underrated QB play😄

Gotcha😄 so RTK is Vincent?

Reading is hard☹️

Put me on the, wait til next year to draft a QB, wagon. I do like Ridder a bit, would be interesting if you could get him late in the first to keep that 5th year option in place... I just think the better crop will be next year and want to draft defense and another WR and some more depth on the o-line. Next year identify the guy and go get him.

Yea ok... Problem is you're thinking is still rooted in being on the plantation. Dude I'm a hurts fan but there's no way in hell I can honestly say he will be a franchise QB or after 3-4 years he is throwing us to the playoffs, NFCCG, or SB. He just doesn't have the tools and when proven wrong ill walk all this back, ask for your cashapp and send u a hundo.

No vincent is a random eagles fan on twitter that wanted to make fun of Hurts stans for their ridiculous praise of routine plays.

That’s about as clean a pocket as you’re going to get in the NFL, Hurts just wasn’t able to step up and make the throw for whatever reason (he has awful anticipation). What video are you watching? Hurts was doing circles like a dog waiting for a treat.

I'm liking Mays later on and moving him to C. Same with Salyer.

Yup. I like him as a late round development C for Stout.

It's not his fault you refuse to see the pressure.

If you get a chance listen to Greg Cosell on ITB, when he reviews Hurts season. He didn’t see the improvement either and there aren’t too many people on the planet that watch more film than him.  Calling the Eagles passing attack in the 2nd half of the season, (remedial, High School) isn’t pulling punches.  When Caplan or Mosher mentioned getting another WR, Cosell responded with "WHY”!!
Jason Avant is at least somewhat respectful of Hurts, but he rips him for the same stuff everyone else does.

I think I would prefer AJ over Samuel even. 2 years younger, less injury history and miles...I still just don't think we are in the best place to make a deal like this and do we want to pay a WR 25 mil a year?  But if they made the trade I at least really love the player and think he's a great fit so would get on board.

Well in 3-4 years he'll be a rookie and then he'll have a chance to get better, trust the process...

You’re all racist in 3….2…1….

Most NFL offenses use high school concepts BTW. Dallas was a top 5 passing offense last year and they run more basic concepts than we do.

I do get their argument for not wanting an early WR though. If we won't throw, what's the point? IMO, we should still get a WR early for Hurt's 2023 replacement.

Yup, like the above post says about cosell when asked about eagles getting another WR and cosell says, Why???

I think another WR would help out another young QB like say Carson strong, but going forward with hurts what's the point?

It's not like hurts can get him the ball, ex. Quez  in Tampa playoff should have had 200 yards but hurts couldn't get him the ball, how would say AJ brown help if hurts can't get him the ball.

25 mil seems like a lot for a WR that the QB can't get the ball to.
