Hill kupp lamb godwin have all shown they can beat guys in the outside as well and also effectively work From the slot

On tape Drake isn't separating down field or on the boundary.

Williams I think is a bit more explosive than Drake.

Drake honestly reminds me so much of Keyshawn.

Keyshawn was most effective running stuff over the middle, slants, skinny posts, drags, out patterns, but ask him to line up on the outside and consistently beat guys was never really his thing.

Though I could see Howie liking London, eagles had a lot of success with alshon winning alot of those back shoulder fades and was what was expected from JJAW, London can be that type of win contested catches guy but why not just draft a guy who can create separation instead of always having to fight for contested catches?

I said it before I’ll say it again , Evans rarely runs free , he just doesn’t have that type of speed , but he like London are bullies , very good after the catch , long big catch radius . That is who Londons game will resemble

The majority of the best WR's in the NFL were taken after the first round. We spent a top 10 pick on DeVonta & gave Goedert 15M/yr. They're going to be our primary receiving options no matter what. Spending another 1st on a WR who will be the 3rd option for the duration of his rookie contract is a bad use of resources. Quez had over 600 yards as the 3rd option on a run first offense with Jalen Hurts as his QB. Some of you guys believe Sirianni when he says Hurts is the guy for next year but dont believe him when he says Quez can be one of the best WR2's he's been around. Get a legit QB under center and DeVonta & Goedert will be perennial 1000 yard receivers. Quez can be someone who gets you between 700-1000 yards in any given year if he has a good QB. Gainwell is a decent receiver too. We could really use a WR2/3, a TE2 & a RB1. All of those can be found outside of round 1.

Yup, spending a 1st on a WR2 on a run first team seems like a really poor use of resources, especially when there are so many other holes.

I dont see the Evans comparison on tape, Evans is a bully as was London but I've seen Evans on the outside just run past a DB,not untouched as hell power through the contact but I'm not sure London has that on the perimeter.

Like I said I think he's more Keyshawn than Evans

What are you replying to?  Where have I said anything at all whatsoever that comes close to saying that Jalen Hurts will be the franchise QB or after 3-4 years he is throwing us into the NFC Championship Game or Super Bowl?  Do you often completely fabricate things someone said in order to argue that?

Bit of a reach on my part but not too much. I shouldn't assume u felt that way after all the defending you've done. My bad.  Not being sarcastic 👍👍

It stings to hear Cosell refer to our offense as "remedial" & "elementary". Other teams have no fear of our passing game and that has way more to do with the QB than the supporting cast. Hopefully Hurts improves. I dont want to watch a lackluster passing game again this year. We probably wont get the chance to play Siemian, Heineke, Gilbert & Glennon this year so unless Hurts takes a massive leap, i wouldnt be surprised if this is a sub 8 win team.

Almost 44% of evans receptions were contested , average target separation was 1.6

How's that compare to London? I'd guess his contested catch rate is higher, not counting screens and such.

One thing I can say about London is for a taller guy he has excellent contact balance.

In the NFL though he might have to learn when to go down or it's going to lead to Injuries, ask Fred Barnett☹️

As for treylon Burks, on tape he's more explosive than London, in his routes and after the catch where he's a yac monster, reminds me a bit of T.O in that sense and close to the same size. Though I think treylon has better hands then T.O coming out as T.O wasn't a natural catcher.

Yea we really messed up taking the Jalen's back to back to start the 2020 draft. It was project city that year from Reagor to Hurts to Taylor😒. There's a strong chance none of them are on the roster in two years. Another Howie special☹

I think of the 3 Taylor had the most upside talent and potential.

I'm not sure he fits what Gannon wants to do

I really liked reagors college tape, he was fast and explosive and quick, the biggest knock on him was  inconsistent hands and effort but he looked to have all the tools, then for some reason he decided to put on about 15 pounds of muscle and he now looks bloated and slow and disinterested in anything other than smashing another protein shake on Twitter🤷‍♂️☹️

I still like him, just needs to stay on the field. He hasnt played football for that long so hopefully his body starts to get used to the punishment.

I liked him too when he was 190lbs. He's trying to play at 200+ and he just doesnt look like the same athlete. I also think he got dealt a bad hand considering he was picked right before Jefferson then had 2020 Wentz & Jalen Hurts as his QB's. Say what you want about Cousins but that dude throws for 4k yards in his sleep and has supported multiple 1000 yard receivers throughout his career. Reagor has a 42 inch vertical and was one of the best contested catch WR's in his class. He's not the best route runner so I think he would benefit from a pocket passer that understands how to go through his reads, anticipate & throw guys open. His career in Philly is probably cooked though.

Nah... his hand is his own doing.   He doesn't have the drive, but talks like he does on social media.

Yup, in college reagor was about 185, I'm not sure who told him to bulk up but it was a mistake as he looks sluggish, in college he was anything but.

I agree I think he would benefit greatly from a QB who can pass. Being the 4 the 5th option in a run first offense he seems to check out.

If I were his agent I'd tell him to drop some lbs and get leaner and quicker then screw his head on straight.

He's got a lot of athletic ability just seems he doesn't know how to use it, maybe he figures it out this year or maybe he drifts Into oblivion🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately his dad does just as much talking☹️

What is it with eagles WRs and their moms and dads?

JJAWs mom and reagors dad are like little league parents who think their kid should be starting QB instead of backup punter 😕

Weird draft

I would agree that Reagor does not belong with a rocked up weight or frame.  He doesn’t even look fast, let alone someone who was advertised to have rare speed.

I wont argue with that. I've been extremely disappointed with him but i expect Howie to hold onto his investment for atleast another year or two. I think a guy like Strong would do wonders for him and the entire pass catching group.

Unpredictable drafts make me nervous with Howie.  Devonta Smith was a safe, extremely vetted, consensus pick at a position of need.

If Howie has 15 players with similar grades and no slam dunk pick with the safest talents off the board…that’s where he gets in a lot of trouble.

This draft is going to be a borat movie...

This. The last time he's had a good QB relative to competition was probably in HS. Played with 7 different QB's at TCU, none of which are even on an NFL practice squad, then get's to the NFL and has 2020 Wentz & Hurts. I'd like the see him with a decent QB for once before i completely give up on him.

I would start prepping your emotions for another lackluster year of offense and Hurts now no matter how much it, ummm, hurts. We have the ammo to get our new signal caller next years draft where the quality of the position is much improved.
