New game.  Who has been a 1st round lock all draft season, that will slide to the 2nd round?  Injured players not included....

My pick: Devonte Wyatt

I want to say Linderbaum but I'm not sure what the consensus is anymore. Seemed like he had a lot of 1st round interest but then it faded so I haven't seen where he's projected lately.

I just don't want an undersized outside CB. I'd much rather Woolen, Gordon, Booth Bryant... There's plenty of quality options.

Instead, or in addition to the low upside DE, I guess we will go for the low upside CB. He will be just a good solid player. But why not gamble on someone with great length and athleticism?

Geez, you must be pretty tender.  Couple weeks ago, the daughter (vegetarian) was in town and we stopped at our favorite Tex Mex place.  Wife orders guacamole for the table and the waitress asked if we wanted it without jalapeños.  I looked at her and said, we’ll take the jalapeños and the ones from the last person that ordered guacamole without. Thanks for the extra jalapeños.

I like Tajin. But JR showed a picture of the Classico, flavor from Chiles de Arbol.  Relatively mild.  They do have one with habanero that has a bit more heat. I prefer the Classico low sodium but add some cayenne (grow and grind my own - fresh has better flavor and a bit more heat. (I grind with the seeds, but then again, I never seed a hot pepper despite what the wimpy recipes call for.)

Yeah, I think that’s fair. There are a lot of failed outside corners with short arms. Even in zone, you prefer taller, long-armed guys to make QBs alter angles on passes. McDuffie will probably get outmuscled enough that he’ll be a frustrating starter.

Can we please pull a Trent "The Hunter" Cole out of this draft?!!

Woolen looks pretty good to me. Booth might be there at 18, that's right around where he should go. At DE I prefer Ebiketie as a trade back option more than George at 15 or even 18.

With his lack of testing due to various injuries and his relative inexperience I’d be stunned if Booth went top 20.

So he could be a viable trade back option as well.

Agreed.

If we trade back I kinda like Elam. I don't think Booth drops much. Gordon in the 2nd would be good too.

Simmons watched his team get swept while putting on a fashion show from the bench. So glad we got rid of him.

Here's my hopeful targets if we trade back to the mid-high 20's:

Booth, Ebiketie, T. Jones, Elam, Hill, Pickens, Mafe

We actually might.  The problem is Howie will boner up the obvious picks.

Jameson Williams makes way, way too much sense.  We have to get this offense right so we can find out exactly what Hurts can do.  Our WR's outside of Devonta were not great last year so we have to get that right.  Plus with his speed, he can take a short pass and go for serious YAC.

Take the most highly rated DE or CB prospect at 18.

Use one of the 3rds to trade up from 51 to land the other DE or CB prospect you didn't get at 18.

OL with the other 3rd.

I wouldn't be mad at that.

It depends on when he is going to be able to play.  If he has to take a "redshirt" year to completely heal then what good will that do trying to find what Hurts can do (which IMO, is already known.....which is not enough.)

I don’t get intimidated often but I am now sir.  Double jalapeños?  Is your family insane?

It's so Philadelphia to be the first team in NBA history to blow a 3-0 lead in the playoffs.

This is making me sick.  We are watching Nick Nurse manipulate the terrible coach that Doc Rivers is before our very eyes with half the talent. I hope I eat my words in the 4th.

Getting Joel aggressive in the paint in the 1st worked so lets stop that.

Sixers may sneak past the Raptors but they aren’t going much further this year. Way too inconsistent and Doc is doing his same old song and dance.

That’s nothing. Try wings with this

Eat that every day on my tacos.  You douse wings with that and you might have some "trouble"

76ers are done.

Bench is worthless.

You will be eating something in the 4th but it won't be words!!! Elton John!

any time the team is missing its stars, the bench shows how good it can be and this team has won a bunch of games against better teams without stars in the lineup this season.

The problem is stacking too many stars creates a stagnant version if basketball that isnt working with washed up james harden, and annually injured Embiid.

If they want to try to have 3-4 stars on this team they need to fill the bench with ball hogs like the Schroders of the world. Our bench guys defer all game long to whichever 1-2 stars are still on the court. No one moves. No one else wants to shoot.

Or, we could just get a more balanced team and forget about paying guys like Harden. Spend the money more wisely. Thats the way the NBA has begun heading but we will be late to follow the trend.
