I agree. I was just thinking who has a chance of being at our 2nd round pick. Outside shot of Quay and Chenal. Then if we're getting into the 3rd I'm fine with staying put for Brandon Smith as well.

Really hope all this Howie is trying to move up talk stays as just a rumor. This is a value draft. No one is really worth trading up for. Stay at 15-18 draft BPA.

There are about 12 for sure 1st round talents. In no particular order:

Hutchinson

Ekwonu

Hamilton

Gardner

Cross

Neal

Thibodeaux

Stingley

Williams

Johnson

Walker

Wilson

Obviously we aren’t trading up for a T. Ideally not for a WR either. I’m ok with a big trade up for Hutchinson, Gardner, Thibodeaux, Johnson. I’m ok with a small trade up for Stingley, Hamilton, Walker. That’s about it.

I’d like to see a small trade up for one of those 7 and a small trade down with 18 to pick up another day 2 pick. Of course, it takes two to tango. 

My hope is 2-3 QBs go before 15 along with the T’s and the WR’s.

I wouldn't say that. If the board falls really unfavorably then there won't even really be any great BPA for us. Maybe 15 but definitely not 18. That's bad value when teams are getting equal quality players as you 10+ picks later in the 1st.

Williams isn't making it to 18, Winfrey isn't making it to 83, Luketa is a huge reach at 101, and Jones isn't making it to 124. Positionally it's a mess too. No DE, No S, No RB, and essentially no real solution at corner since Jones is a slot/RS and Goodrich isn't even a better prospect than Zech and Gowan. Total FN mess.

Yep, an absolute disaster and he is being ripped to shreds on Twitter as he should.

Hope if they trade up it's for one of the top 2 corners.  That or an edge rusher.  Hamilton is the other player I'd be in for trading up for.

No way in hell Williams falls to #18. Would love a Davis/Williams 1st round though.
