Damn, the back half of the 1st is just chaos year-to-year. PIT takes the cake with the +106 reach lol

Good convo.

In summary, trade Dillard and Hurts.

And Reagor.

Eagles 15, 83 and Dillard for Seattle's 9 would value Dillard at a late R3 pick, which looks about fair value IMO.

Would absolutely do that for Thibodeaux. John Schneider loves trading down too and still needs to acquire more picks.

Just my random thought. I’d be happy if the Eagles stay where they are at and land Jordan Davis and any WR of Jameson Williams-Drake London-Christain Watson-Chris Olave

Shouldn't that be in case there is an issue with Mailata?

Because Dillard sure as hell can't cover for Lane at RT. That would have to fall upon Driscoll or Clark.

My assumption is they would move Mailata to RT and put Dillard at LT.  That seems to be the mindset they take

My reaction to that would be....

UK Eagle

Eagles have been super quiet on Wilson so this is interesting

Howie is trading up for Williams, Thibodeaux, now Wilson.

it would be something that was never seen before, 2 great wrs and a horrible qb throwing ducks at them

The silver lining there is that only one player has to be replaced.

Been my thought too. All this noise connecting them to Williams this past week reeks of a smokescreen. Wilson is a diehard Eagles fan too. Not that it matters at all, but he'd be thrilled to play here. Just depends how far he falls.

We should be able to get all 3 right?

Random thought: Would a team put out real information with the hope that it looks like a smokescreen? Like reverse psychology haha

You won’t find anyone who takes a mock draft more seriously than Josh Norris. I don’t say that as an insult. He works his ass off to get the right info.

Oh no, Howie is getting drunk and trading up with all our 2023 first round picks

There are definitely teams that aren't afraid to make their intentions known, I just don't think they see it as a reverse smokescreen

IIRC the Eagles have a "tier" of players who are targets at each draft slot, and I assume Howie has contacted each GM holding picks 6-14 to discuss the compensation needed to move up to each spot -- which is why there have been quite a few reports "The Eagles are looking to move up".

I believe the Eagles really want one of the top-graded edge rushers in this draft.  Say, for example, they have Hutchinson, Walker, Thibodeaux, Johnson in that premier group they might decide to get on the phone as soon as the 3rd guy is off the board to grab the last one.  They are likely considering the same thing at WR, although I wish they'd wait on WR until the 2nd round in this draft.  If they have Williams, Wilson, and Olave on their top tier they might be inclined to make a call as soon as the 2nd one goes off the board.

Same thing might be true for CB, although it's looking like both Gardner and Stingley might go top 9.

I don't see how pick 51 gets you to 6th overall

There has been some talk that teams in the top 10 are trying to trade down. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Yea, but I would think it takes more than that, even if the market is weak.

Just look at last year, Miami moved from #12 to #6. We gave them a 5th and they gave us a future 1st and a 4th. #15 to #6 for just a 2nd just seems too light based on history.

And I don't buy that a future first is the equivalent to a current second.
